Shouldnthe membrane between your ridge and the top of the window not lie on top of the tray? So that any water that gets on the membrane there flows onto the window flashings and around?
@@TheMilitaryGardener to be fair i have been looking at videos of people installing frameless skylights and i havent found a single one that has done it properly yet.
Need some help. I bought the 54cm by 78 cm site roofing window from B & Q (same as yours rebranded and made by kingfisher) I'm very competent at building and have done various trades over 20 years. But... the flashing kit is 61cm wide. The wooden border of the window is 54x 78 (as the flashing kit says it is designed to fit) How th heck does this flashing kit fit if the inner edges and frame of the flashing is 6cm winder?? the instructions with this window were less detailed than I get on a plug... I went back to b&q and multiple people have returned this window and flashing set as they say it doesnt fit. I'm planning to cut this in half and pull the halves together and seal with roofing sealant to get the darn thing to work. Did you have a similar issue?
@@TheMilitaryGardener got them mounted but builder ended up back to finish off roof so a happy compromise. Feel and look similar to most I’ve seen or fitted.
Thank you for the video, just purchased 1x from LB awaiting delivery so your video was super helpful.
So glad I could help.

Yep, correct. A fact I subsequently found out and had to rectify 😂

@srslam1347 thanks. It was my first one. If since doubled up on the membrane and overlapped.
