THANK YOU tAMMY! THIS PIE LOOKS SO YUMMY! WITH YOUR HUSBAND SAYING IT WAS THE BEST, I WANT TO MAKE THIS ONE! THANKS FOR EASY RECIPES!..GOD BLESS YOU TAMMY & YOUR HUSBAND.
Tammy, I made this pie last night for a special birthday and we had a piece today....Omgoodness!!! It’s AMAZING! I bought 3 bags of chocolate chips, and didn’t realize until I started putting the pie together that ALL 3 bags were semi-sweet 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ So I upped the white sugar and then added a little powdered sugar to help fluff it up. I can’t believe how delicious this pie turned out. It really impressed the birthday boy, he thought it was store bought 💁🏼♀️ I’ll be making this for Thanksgiving & Christmas! Thanks for all the great recipes, can’t wait to try some more 👩🏼🍳
One box Baker's chocolate, melted, can of condensed milk, tsp vanilla...pour in homemade graham cracker crust. (Crushed package of graham crackers, brown sugar 2-3 heaping tablespoons, melted butter).
Hi tammy & chris. 😱 omg 😋 delish. This is a pie every husband will 💘. .... Chocolate dreams are this!!!! Love ya both. Sue from Pgh Pa. Many blessings to you both🙏💗
I just made this pie! I added 1/2 tbsp sour cream and half pinch of dark roast instant coffee as I do with ALL chocolate recipes as it brings out the chocolate much more. (I don't like coffee). I also added 10 Caramel Sea Salt chips (melted with other chips), 1/2 tsp shaved bitter chocolate and a conservative pinch o' salt. I topped it with shaved semi-sweet bakers chocolate. It is SOOOO delish! I can't wait to have dessert I made with "the hub". I had to rest 4 times in between making this but I did it! I thank you so much,Tammy, for this video. I am inspired to try more cooking/baking. As long as I can take my time, I am doing it. ❤❤❤🌻❤❤❤
Simple and to the point, that’s what I like, because I can’t cook 👩🍳 or anything of that nature my husband does and he’s GOOOOOD at it !!! I try my best and so far the strawberry 🍓 cheesecake I followed from here, my family said I did a good job 👍🏾 so now imma try this 😄
Thanks Tammy for this recipe! I have made it a few times now including Thanksgiving and Christmas events, and it’s a favorite! I altered your recipe a bit by adding a few tablespoons of half and half, as the batter was very stiff. And when I only had semi sweet chocolate I increased the sugar, and it’s always been good! Just wanted to drop you a note and say thanks! Merry Christmas!
You can have fun with this pie by adding a tablespoon of your favorite liqueur when you fold in the Cool Whip. I like amaretto, Frangelico, and creme de menthe. You can add a garnish that goes with the liqueur, like toasted almonds, hazelnuts, crushed peppermints, etc.
OHHHH GirlFriend... you are speaking my language... I have to laugh... I used to have a Restaurant ... everything made from scratch, right. I used to make this Cake called: Double Hot Fudge Chocolate Cake... I put Chocolate Liquor in it... the longer (older) it went... the stronger it got, right! I had one customer that would pay me in advance to SAVE the last piece of cake, (in a Restaurant, you had to serve it up within I think 2 to 3 days, then throw it out. My customer said the older the cake the better tasting... LOL... it had to be the Liqueur. It was a real simple recipe... Devils food choc. cake recipe... a jar of HOT Fudge on top after baking... I had to use a Bunt cake pan, so the extra hot fudge would settle in the middle, and not fall off the plate... the liqueur was in the mix of course.... delicious cake... YUM
Hey Eric, so good to hear from you again! I am glad you liked the pie video! It was so good, we are still eating it! It is so simple and easy to make too. I hope you have a great day! We had 11" of snow on Sat & Sunday so it definitely put me in the Christmas spirit! That is odd here in NW Georgia!
That looks so good. I got to try it. I was going to crush chocolate mint filled cookies for some dishes and chocolate raspberry filled cookies for some and chocolate cookies with white filling in some individual dessert dishes. Then fill them and use different toppings on the cool whip on top. Thank you so much for sharing. You're such a wonderful cook.
@@CollardValleyCooks I have taken the shortbread chocolate mint cookies. That are packed in paper muffin type cups. In a small white paper bag. And just used the chocolate cook n serve pudding and poured over them. Then just stirred them up and refrigerated. It was good. Some cookies that were right in the middle the heat from the pudding made them a little soft. But they still tasted great. Just the shortbread absorbed to much chocolate because of the heat. Next time I'm going to stir the pudding some so it will cool a little before I pour it over the cookies. So I decided to just melt some semi-sweet and sweet chocolate chips in a double boiler. Then just let it cool a little and dip the cookies and let them dry before breaking and pour the slightly cooled cook n serve chocolate pudding over them. Then top with Cool Whip just before serving. So the cookies would not absorb to much pudding. The first one I made was entirely eaten by my family the next day. They really liked it. I Love you wonderful videos. And appreciate the down home flavor. It's just like sitting in the kitchen talking with a girlfriend while she cooks. A real joy to watch. Your family is truly blessed to have such a wonderful mother and excellent cook. I know they are very proud. God Bless You. 😇
