the thing is, i use both local and cloud storage for video cams. reason, local storage can be stolen/vandalized/destroyed. with NEST it sends the footage off site. although criminals can jam WIFI signals, but the newer nest cams can store 1 hours worth of events on the camera itself and upload when signal is restored. but i am worried about physical burglaries.
