Ive never heard of the vagus nerve before but i am a survivor of narcissistic abuse from my mother.
wow! this helped instantly! I am recovering from a concussion and whiplash from a car accident, and having constant headaches, as well as ptsd when driving. Within a few seconds, i heard clicking/crackling and releasing in my ears and skull and then a gradual sense of greater spaciousness in my skull, and i started yawning (which i have heard is a sign your nervous system is relaxing. Then the sides of my neck unlocked and my shoulders dropped for the 1st time in a month. I feel so much more relaxed now and continuing to yawm. What a welcome relief. You are a godsend, Lourdes! Can I inquire as to why those who are victims of narc abuse suffer from issues with their vagus nerve? I’ve looked on my own online and couldn’t find anything definitive. I am a victim as well and find it so hard to find relief.

So sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. If you haven't, try seeing a neurologist to check the function of your autonomic nervous system. A doctor with experience in treating dysautonomia may be able to help you. Been in bed for the entire week and will only get up to eat, drink water and pee and after playing this I got kind of dizzy for a bit.
