I learned a lot from this video, not only making a bolt and a nut. Thanks !!!!

Thank you for the tutorial, it was really very fun to design with you. I had to pause a few times just because Fusion 360's UI has changed a lot, but the information is solid.

Thank you so much for the video tutorial! I just found out that one cannot print this directly, you have to add some offset to the threads, otherwise they won’t be able to go against each other in printed form.

Thanks very much for this video. For some reason I am battling to properly design a socket/nut, M48 into which a vacuum hose with an OD of 48mm fits. Is designed the nut with an inner diameter of 48mm and added the thread for M48 BUT the pipe does not fit. Am I missing something or am I doing something wrong?
    Please advise.

If you 3D print nut and bolt using this tutorial, most likely it will NOT work. You have to add some 0.2-0.3 mm more space by moving nut's internal surfaces of thread using OFFSET tool, after that it will work.

What you have created is a screw, not a bolt! A bolt has a flat, raised surface under the head to displace the load.
