Awesome, thanks for the upload. I ordered a PS5 and it's arriving May 4th of all days lol, but it's watching the game instead of playing it until then for me. I'll see how it feels when I get the game but single stance looks good to me, people aren't really talking about it online much except to say that they like the flashy new stances better. Everyone loves the dual stance but in most of the gameplay footage people post they're burning through stims like crazy when they use it lol
i think people don’t mention the single much because each stance has utility and aesthetic except the single stance. single needs a rework/overhaul. double blade got reworked very well.
@@shikadaikobutsu3414 just actually got the game two days ago, I agree. I'm playing on Jedi Knight difficulty and having no problems with 'low' damage. Double bladed is my default and I switch to dual occasionally. I don't have any of the new stances yet but I'll give them a chance too later

I don't know how I feel about this stance I think the only thing that's missing is the actual light saber forms Since its Jack of all traits master of none type of stance I think maybe it would be cool to switch between the forms instead Fight like aniken form ..5? I feel this form let’s you alternate really well between at least two styles. Playing defensive and pokey gives you a soresu style move set with surgical strikes in between parries and dodges. Or you can use force attacks and charged overheads back to back to emulate a more Anakin/Vader approach with heavy strikes to dismantle enemy defenses.
@@shikadaikobutsu3414speaking of forms, do you know, canonically, what form Cal actually uses? I’d love to see the next Jedi game to dive deeper into giving cal multiple stances/skill trees for the single blade inspired by the different forms. That way the single blade can be so much more diverse with varying effectiveness in certain combat situations and potentially more personalized for how you want to play the game. It would allow more people to enjoy the classic single blade in their own way. Maybe instead of even just having separate trees for each form, there could be one big tree that branches more specifically into different forms but be able to mix them together in some ways. Like each button combination could be one of several options that could lead to very different combos and uses. It could be not too different from how each of this games five stances have it’s own strengths and weaknesses, but more in depth and more applicable to a single blade. Imagine a single blade stance that looks and feels like you’re fighting like Obi wan. Since he uses soresu, if I remember correctly, the stance and it’s moves could favor a very defensive style with more effective abilities for deflecting blasters, a stronger block meter, easier parrying, solid for group encounters, etc. Then you’ve got your fencing moves like form 2, good for one on one duels, form 4 that’s very agile, good more closing distances and for all out attacking, form 5 that’s balanced in both aggressive attacks and counter attacks. I think I got most of that right, but I hope I got the concept across and it would be a ton of fun to play around with imo.
@@BuddyChy No unfortunetly I do not really recognize the form he uses since his moves are really clumsy compared to real jedi knights, but given the rank he had before order 66 I would say shi-cho or something else, although he might be using niman but since he didn't have that much training I doubt it. I really love your concept ! You definitly got that right 😄, I feel like the forms aren't represented at all in the game, I love the idea of implementing the 7 forms in a game that would just be awesome. Different combos variations for each form and this with only a single bladed lightsaber would be so satisfying. Unfortunetly with disney as the new "leader" of the franchise the lore is really overlooked and not detailed enough. But I would definitly be ready to buy an AAA star wats game which would feature such awesome combat system.
@@shikadaikobutsu3414 @BudEagle I'm gonna copy and paste my comment I used to reply to another: Saber forms are incredible lore. I am a huge fan of Mace Windu's Vaapad variant of form 7. Having these in a future Star Wars roleplay game is essential imo. The game gets incredibly stale when replaying the exact same stance. Imagine being able to play through the game several times with different saber forms... I'd replay it once per form. I'm also on PC so I'm currently waiting for the price to drop on Survivor. You can even use pull to hold them and redirect them better.

Really ? I found a lot of footage of people using the dual lightsaber stance and they were doing a pretty good job and didn't even use a single stim.
My favourite is the double blade stance. I even use it during his battles and I don't find any issues with the "low" damage

Are you thinking of something similar to how Jedi Academy had three different forms for the single saber for example?
Ure giving it way too much thought, this stance was simply intended to act as a mid range gap closer / mid defense stance
I mean it could also be form 1 or form 6.. generalist forms

Yeah, what you mean is a different fighting style with the same saber, I agree since (spoiler alert) we’ve seen that cere fights differently than cal
0:46 Is that the Form III Soresu stance?
No it's not soresu, Cal doesn't use form III in the game.

wwhich stance is your favorite and which do you find to be the best?
all stances have their pros and cons, I prefer fast paced combat so Double bladed and dual wield are my favorites

Max force pull can grab up to 2 rockets then force push them both back
