I truly appreciate your listening to your 31 dys of Proverbs....My boyfriend & I started reading Proverbs together...I had questions we both needed answers to. Then I went on YT & watched several people read & comment on scriptures in Proverbs...When I listen to your podcast, i said this fits me just right....So, we've been trying to do a chapter a nite & I always read ahead, then listen to you, & do a lot of highlighting...I had No ideal how refreshing Proverbs is, for a couple in a relationship to Read! It's brought up so many questions about our past, present, & future! Thank you for this, even though now its Dec of 2020 & I just now discovered you!
Tell the young ones to get their education while they are young, there will be plenty of time for work and family later in life, you only have a small window of opportunity to prepare for your future.
I struggle with sin.. yet I look to God every day.. I pray for the strength to take the hard paths over the easy ones. I just can never find a balance. I consciously think about it a lot, dealing with depression, anxiety, self guilt, lying, bad health, hypocrisy, addiction, etc.. it’s very hard to dig myself out of this whole. I do have hope how ever because I know at heart.. I am a good person, who likes to see others happy and successful, I enjoy being kind to people also. I do know that one day I will be a servant God. I don’t know when that will be.. but I have faith in my creator.
Keep telling the young ones how important it is to make wise choices while your young, it's not true that it's never to late, you can make unwise choices in your youth which when you become old enough to realize your mistake it can be indeed to lake to turn things back and fix them.
I believe there are no blessings of course there are blessings but more overarching I believe that there is a blessing singular and the blessing is like you said a connection with Allah everything else that we consider blessings is just an addition. Being blessed is being a believer.
Fast forward and apply chapter 23 to the time Satan stands in the holy place claiming to be god/messiah. The whole world will wonder after the beast, all who are deceived by him will become the whore of Babylon, that is, all except God's elect who have the seal of God in their foreheads, meaning in their minds.
