I got the 32 Panaracer Gravel King in my single-speed bike, and I truly love them. They are fast on gravel roads, and forgiving enough on the tarmac to go reasonably fast.

That's awesome to hear! They are seriously a winning formula and hope it never changes. Thanks for watching!

I wanted to ride, but after my ride yesterday I had to fix the play in my headset bearing cups. I decided to put the original steel fork back on my '86 Specialized Allez SE and the headset I got, the cups weren't press fit, the slipped in rather easily into the head tube. I used feeler gauge as shims, a .002" for the top and .004" for the bottom. Definitely tighter fit, because I had to use a rubber mallet to install.
The bike Definitely looks better with the original steel fork, especially as a restomod, and rides a tad smoother in the rough than the carbon bladed fork I had.
BTW, I hope you faired well through the storm/hurricane

100%, when a steel fork is on the bike, it's just so much better. We are all good here and thankfully the trails weren't destroyed and was able to film this post hurricane. Thanks for the support and watching!

Thank you! Random one I found on eBay for $20 a while ago and never seen it again since.

Love your premise on steel, suntour, and tweeking value out of thin air. One question. It appears frame size doesn't phase you. Is it just me or do not really rely on conformity around consistent frame size matching to your physical 'frame' ?

By default I put Truvativ steel chain ring bolts on all my bikes - 5mm on one side and 6mm on the other. Haven't had to touch that annoying spanner tool in about 15 years!
