without very good safety measures on circuits and tracks including big and deep sand pits particularly on bends,curves and fast area's that are notorious for being dangerous or being accident blackspots to rapidly reduce the speed of vehicles should they go of the circuits track into them often at high speeds and without the halo to protect the drivers heads particularly in crashes with flying wreckage and debris there wood be a big increase in the number of injuries particularly very serious injuries and/or deaths...
danger never goes away in motorsport...ever.....if you see these crashes or repeats of them you will be ready to put your hands over your eyes at any moment.....not only wood they give you nightmares but they are always alot worse than very bad dreams....

2:35, 7:15 - THIS is why infields need to be paved on ovals, not grass (0:45), whether asphalt or concrete. If you go straight, you can brake instead of bounce. If you get turned, friction slows you instead of digging in and becoming a barrel roll.
I mean most of the time when a stock car gets turned around the aero is what flips it. less of the grass but more of the fact the cars will naturally pull themselves into the air. A very bad car that did that alot was NASCARS COT with the big spoiler

Red flag came out and the called the race. The funniest part is that the Audi won the race because when a red flag comes out scoring goes back 1 lap.
