Thank you all for the nice words and thank you @CNBC Make IT for featuring me in your channel. I was afraid to tell my story because I understand that immigration is an extremely controversial topic. I am extremely grateful for the sacrifices that my mother and my wife did for me and to the judge that despite having one of the toughest records was able to truly listened and review my evidence. My mother is the true hero in my story, she never gave up. She worked 3 jobs to support my little sister and I; she has suffered and experience the worst in life, she is truly and inspiration to my entire family. To everyone, Once again thank you so much for the kind words; you all gave me a sense that I really belong here.

God bless you and your family! That’s what I’m trying to do here. I’m from Guatemala and I didn’t go to jail thank God but I did have to take control of my case because the place where I had my documents handled for my residence didn’t do the right job and they were going to deny my case if I didn’t give enough and sufficient proof for a pardon. I read, I saw tons of RUclips videos because lawyers were just too expensive and didn’t seem like they cared either way. Thankfully with my sister’s help and other family I submitted my case and I won my pardon!! Actually God granted me that amazing blessing, now I just need to get on track and start making the 💰 to help my parents and make them proud 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 God bless all immigrants❤
He's an illegal alien invader who managed to game the system to cut in line ahead of actual, legal immigrants. Calling this illegal alien an 'immigrant' is an insult to all legal immigrants. He did everything he could to avoid the legal immigration process, including probably using someone's stolen social security number and identity. He should've been sent back to Peru.
I don't know how he could forgive those awful inlaws. Trying to get your son-in-law deported because you don't think he's right for your daughter is pretty evil. But as a Christian, I guess you have to find a way to forgive those who do evil against you.

Great story. I am also an immigrant from Africa. I Came to the US in 2011 with less than $100 under my name. Worked at KFC for 4 months before going to college for my engineering degree. lost my dad back home a year later. Today I am a multiple six figure earner. The USA is an incredible country in terms of opportunities.

3 women helped him to be where he is today; his mother who took him to US, his wife who saw a diamond in the rough, and the immigration court judge who believed in him a great addition to the country.
@efazen This is a grossly false assumption. Every landlord does not rip people off or overcharge tenants. There are still neighborhoods that have not been ravaged by gentrification and investor greed.
@efazenPeople are poor by choice. Why can’t Americans do what he did but feel the need to complain and be a victim? You can do exactly what he’s doing.
The fact that his mom worked 3 jobs, and Eddie was detained at the border, represented himself in court, and made successful businesses is amazing. There is no excuse to be lazy. Especially if you were blessed enough to be born in America, and now have the internet in ur hands on your phone.
Nothing new people will be lazy regardless and every immigrant is not a multi millionaire. Comparison helps big time and Americans are stupid for not understanding the privilege but nothing new about this with humans. His mother came illegal for her benefit so he had to go thru the process and was treating justifiable as a criminal but great job for him taking his case serious and defending himself and the US justice system gave him the opportunity. I do not think we should promote illegal border crossing because of one good story when there are people dead in the jungle or it being illegal.
Exactly! I worked 3 jobs all year round through college and kept multiple jobs well into my 30's. About to hit mid life now and I consult and make my own hours. I don't have to work the crazy hours any more and can spend more time with my family. People complain about having to work, I was always grateful to have any job I could get my hands on.
This guy is essentially not better off than his mom, as he also does work 3 jobs, including his wife, to sustain that high income. This has nothing to do with laziness and more to do with exploitation.
The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich " . These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.
" It is remarkable how much long term advantage people like us have gotten by trying to be consistently not stupid , instead of trying to be very intelligent."
The wisest thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on government paycheck, especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a time to invest in Stocks, Forex and Digital currencies.
I also keep seeing lot's of people testifying about how they make money investing in Stock, Forex and Crypto Trade(Bitcoin) and I wonder why I keep loosing. Can anyone help me out or at least advice me on what to do.
Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.
Never under estimate the drive of an immigrant. While many Americans look for the barriers, many immigrants look for the opportunities. These are always inspiring stories.

He made all the right moves. He went to a community college instead of a high cost university, then studied I.T which in most cases is a field that cares more about skills rather than degrees, lives in a low cost of living area of the united states. Him and his wife are both bilingual which should help in any field. They bought real estate and know the power of investing in business by working smarter not harder. They make a great team.
This was way too short, I want to know about their relationship and how they met. How long was he detained for and how long did that all take? How much was his first IT job? The wife pregnancies? Illegal immigrants need to be locked up and then sent back to their country of origin. You and i both no that immigrants love their country more than they do America. Not one Immigrant would fight on America's side if we went to war with their country of origin. Immigrants only like America for the wealth that they can take from her. They love the opportunities that are often times afforded to them and not to us real Americans. My family roots go all the way back to before the USA was the USA, so I have a natural interest in America.
If you come to America legally, I'm all for it. But if you come as an illegal immigrant, regardless of your situation, then you must be imprisoned and then sent back to your country. Go home and make your country great again.

I don't think him getting 20 properties is something we should root for. Landlords grabbing a lot of property can manipulate the prices of rent in the community and make housing out of reach for regular people in the community. Landlords are the reason why rent is so high and renters are struggling so much. Some countries require properties to be owner occupied to protect the native population. The fact that his mom worked 3 jobs, and Eddie was detained at the border, represented himself in court, and made successful businesses is amazing. There is no excuse to be lazy. Especially if you were blessed enough to be born in America, and now have the internet in ur hands on your phone.
True words
Nothing new people will be lazy regardless and every immigrant is not a multi millionaire. Comparison helps big time and Americans are stupid for not understanding the privilege but nothing new about this with humans. His mother came illegal for her benefit so he had to go thru the process and was treating justifiable as a criminal but great job for him taking his case serious and defending himself and the US justice system gave him the opportunity. I do not think we should promote illegal border crossing because of one good story when there are people dead in the jungle or it being illegal.
You have to have the INFORMATION to be successful. If you don't know, you won't know where to start
Money invested is far better than money saved , when you invest it gives you the opportunity to increase your financial worth.

This is the definition of motivation and tenacity. My father is an immigrant from Haiti who came to this country with nothing and is now a practicing physician who owns multiple properties
Watching this made me realize I really I've really made some big mistakes in my career. This guy is killing it at a young age.
I needed to see this. Also an immigrant and a business owner and things have slowed down. Starting another business and also going corporate has been an idea.
He’s doing this as a husband with kids. This is incredible. I
Life gave this guy stones and he made them into lemonade, respect ✊
I've watched so many of these over the years and this is hands down my absolute favourite. Congrats to you and your beautiful family
OMG, I used to work with Eddie here in VA!! He was in IT and I was doing data entry (behind the glass enclosure- LOL) It's so nice to see his story showcased here, as he is a nice guy. I had no clue when I chose to view this video that I would see someone I used to work with! How awesome is that? Continued blessings and success to you and your family Eddie! God bless you... 💝🙏🏾💝🙏🏾 Sincerely, S. Vanzego
No mention of the special government programs that give immigrants funding to do this, while the American born citizen doesn’t have access to the same programs that guarantee our success.
Clown any one can do what he did. @@tenabarnes3269
@@tenabarnes3269 What it is, it's the contract/funding gate keepers who get brownie points for picking accelerating "winners" while bearing little flack when they're wrong, chalking it up as supporting diversity. It's so bad that research labs hire H1b workers who are worse / less productive than more qualified locals because HR has streamlined the process to do so.
@@tenabarnes3269 And you make no mention that his mom worked 3 jobs, and Eddie was detained at the border, represented himself in court, and made several successful businesses and created jobs in his neighborhood. What have you done besides whine?
This is so inspiring. I myself just became a US citizen last year so I know exactly how you feel. I never took a free dime from the US, everything was paid out of pocket and I'm still so grateful to be able to live here. The US is still the greatest country with abundant of opportunities if we really put our efforts into it.
Respect from one Peruvian immigrant to another. It's really amazing how seamlessly you pivoted to different careers. The epitome of "you can become anything you set your mind to".
Bro could've been a lawyer or a doctor. He's one of a kind.
@@teenytinytoons But he still ended up becoming a cyber security. It goes on to show whatever we put our mind to, if we can be serious with it and put in 100% focus, we can achieve much more that we think.
Eddie, all I can say my friend is I am proud of you. You have reached and will continue to reach a place where a small percentage of Americans including myself might not be able to reach. I am i immigrant myself and can relate. Keep pushing forward my friend and don’t stop and continue to build up that generation of wealth. Great job my friend, stay humble and don’t forget about your roots and God.
Me dió mucha alegría escuchar tu historia! Felicidades!!🥳
The amount of gratitude he has is what makes him just that more special!
If this doesn't motivate you, I don't know what else will. What a beautiful story. They are living the true American dream.
I am very proud of him. I was a refugee and now chasing American dream as a real estate agent!
Good luck to you!
Amazing video, couldn't be more proud of a fellow Peruvian! To have so many setbacks and keep a positive mentality is truly inspiring. Don't ever be afraid to share your story.
$420k a year is not bad but I see Asians in Silicon Valley make more than that on their own and they came after they had their degree much older than 14 years old. Perspective please.... I know Peruanos making more on their own in Silicon Valley nobody is talking about them because they don't compare them selves against a Peruanos they compare them selves against the best in the world. Peruanos that out earns Elon Musk then talk...
@@AnaMaria-ez8yq Ok Ana Maria, but we don’t obsess over what other people/races do or spend our entire lives comparing ourselves with people that have more than us. That’s what creates envy, jealousy, greed and victim mentality in people. And yes, we are proud of every Peruvian that makes it, which isn’t THAT rare anyway considering that when it comes to US Latinos, Peruvian Americans are one of the latino groups with the highest income along with Chilean Americans and Argentinian Americans.
You do you, but considering stats and what type of video we’re watching right now, Peruvian Americans are alright doing it their own way 🤷🏻♀️ don’t worry about them
Very inspiring!! Good for you Eddie. Un guerrero de verdad!!!
I am amazed one can attend our schools without a SSN. Yes. Alot worked in his favor.

@@alexraj9436 This may not be affirmative action. Maybe some loophole. He got a sympathetic judge in his case.
@@alexraj9436 A regular US citizen would not have worked as hard as him either!
@@Tannedsilk I’m pretty sure you would fall in that group. Now would you like it If I told you that you had to cut my lawn to be considered a hard worker?
I think this is one of the best stories I've seen on this channel. What the enemy meant for evil, God turned it for good. Continued success with all of your endeavors!
Who else has a big smile from ear to ear when they see these stories? 🙋♀Good Luck and many more blessings for you!
Such an inspiration to all of us, amazing story! Immigrants are the American dream!
No
They literally aren’t
No, the American dream is to come here, become an American citizen and make it like how he did.

Best yet! Great job capturing the hard work of this couple. Beautiful story
What a power couple! Eddie speaks with such a soothing and confident voice. And his wife is a powerhouse and an amazing support. You guys are amazing!
