Love your honesty in this video, and I totally get what you mean about anxiety kicking in haha. Was also my first time going to tiff this year from the UK. Although I missed most of the main events, it was great to be around like minded people with a shared passion for film. Will defo get the premium passes next time so maybe see you there!

Thank you so much for the kind comment! I really just wanted to make the video I wish I saw beforehand so that’s why I told it as honestly as I could. Hope to see your at TIFF next year!!

@@AlokailyHussain no worries bro. Also I noticed you're at Sheridan College. Would you recommend it? I'm thinking of applying for their AFTV program but am abit skeptical about the location/nightlife since it's not in Toronto centre. Thanks!

I mean location/nightlife? Yeah it sucks you would have to go anywhere else for that. For the program itself, it honestly depends what you want out of Film School and if you need certain things then you would probably get something out of it

Well, I think I'm kinda in the same situation as you. I'm 16 now and I am a sucker for cinema, but since I went to high school, nobody shares the same passion as me so sometimes I feel disconnected from others. So when I heard that in my country there is an international film festival, it's called Haniff ( Hanoi international film festival ) I was excited to join there and network with people who have the same passion for film. But when I went there I have the struggle with the network since everybody seems to like they went there just because they don't have to pay for the ticket rather than meeting with a film lover like me so I don't have a conversation with someone. But luckily I have watched Falcon lake a film that was filmed and produced in Canada, and since then I started searching for film schools in Canada. I have searched for some universities that offer a film program and I saw your video. Your video inspired me a lot, your energy, and your passion, I can see myself in you, and now I know that there are a lot of people like me. All I want to say is keep on making videos I really appreciate your work and maybe someday when I went to Canada I can meet you in person.
Ps: by the way can we exchange the ig and letterboxd=))) I want to talk to such a person like you since I think we have a lot of things in common if you don't mind

Dude this comment made my entire day! Thank you so much for your kind words, it seriously goes a long way in terms of making these. And yeah man, you are not alone as much as you may think. There is an incredible world of possibilities that are out there from putting yourself out there and that is super important to remember. Also my Instagram DM’s are open so if you need to ask anything, I’d love to help!
