Hi Stephan, maybe you can help me… can you use Strava live segments through garmin extended display mode ? I mirror my watch , and the live segments start very nicely on the watch, but the garmin 130+ doesn’t display the segments ( like on the watch) Thanks
On the Garmin connect app when I authorise it to connect to Strava it's not called 'live strava segments' it's just called 'starred segments' anything I can do to get it working. And I have Strava premium and using a Garmin 520

Alle Segmente auf dem Gerät sind Enabled und wenn ich eine Route starte werden mir die favorisierten Segmente auch angezeigt. Nur der automatische Start funktioniert nicht. Hast du eine Idee?

When I am logged into strava on computer and favorite a new segment, does that automatically transfer over to garmin connect and then to my garmin bike computer, or do i have to transfer new segments to garmin connect manually?
Hallo Stephan, auf welchem Wert basiert die Position des virtuellen Gegners (PR, KOM, etc)? Nimmt Garmin einfach die Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit oder die tatsächliche gefahrene Geschwindigkeit? Im Flachen sollte das kaum einen Unterschied machen, aber was ist z.B. wenn ein Segment erst flach und dann steil ist? Ist man dann am Anfang automatisch schneller, weil beim Gegner schon das Steilstück eingerechnet ist? Danke.

Where are you creating the route? I assume you have to use strava route builder? I couldn’t get mine to work when following a route created in the ridewithgps website or even in Garmin Connect.
Ciao Stephan, what's your 810 firmware ? I don't have all the info you have on your device. No chance to see the segments on Course reports. Do I need to establish bluetooth connection while riding to have full info on my Garmin?
+Luca Piovesan I have the latest firmware. you need to enable live Segments and you need to be Strava Premium member. also you will have to favorite the segments you want to show up during your ride

Make sure you set a goal on the segment in order to see it on the unit when riding

AFAIK it's only done automaticly you will have to force es sync again maybe ?

You can take a route that you have ridden and create the segment in Strava. You can save and star someone else’s ride and then create the segment
