I love this show so so much. Not only is this the first time we have a high quality live vid of the Flyers, but it’s also the most human I’ve seen these players. There’s a few spots where they make a mistake, but it doesn’t matter! Nate drops a stick at 1:28, Mark comes in a bit early on Barbara (18:55), Joe flubs the intro to Bicentennial at 21:42, and Cory ends a bit late on Signed, Sealed, Delivered. (35:57) but it doesn’t matter, the groove keeps rollin and we’re still jammin.

    1. I’m amazed by the fact that the whole concept of the fearless flyers works as an entity of music, visual presentation of the performance under the aspects of minimalism, sense of humor (fixed instruments) and serious funkiness.
Most of us “professional musicians” can learn a lot from the grade of focus dedicated to “the product, that is delivered” on the highest possible level with maximum personal joy.
    2. How cool is it, that the guitars change player’s (or should we name them pilots? 😅)
    3. Is this a single P-Bass-humbucker-coil in the center of the middle Guitar?
    4. Keep in mind that the musical material sources itself basically out of 10 Notes - dorian scale plus major 3rd and flat 5 - it is a piece of art to craft such versatility out of reduced material.
Honest admiration for this great concert!
