This came out in autumn 1983 as a £2 version, and went up to £3 in 1984 without changing it's moniker. Very addictive machine to play and i frequently went over the top playing it.
My no 1 bandit of all time, used to play in 1987 in carmill cafe on East lancs in sthelens before my lift to work and although derelict it's still there , everytime I drive past my thoughts are roadrunner ❤️ would love to play one again, thanks nick 👍
What an excellent find and one that I used to play occasionally. I don't ever remember winning the Jackpot on this but seem to recall getting cleaned out 🤣 lol.
Haha the mystery back 'n forth was hilarious and a great capture 😂 Great machine which I rarely came across back in the day sadly. Nice addition Nick 😎
All good thanks and feeling good now I have rr in the collection . Its mainly ok sound wise and those series of jpm s (frogg hop and chaser) all had sound drop out.
Played this so so many times with bust out in the local chip shop maybe 1984 always was one of my holy grail machines that I never got but thank you for posting this it was lovely to watch
@@nedkabinder was either chips and bus fair home 40p or 4 spins of road runner - road runner always won and I always went without chips and walked home
Great find and great machine Nick i love them cabs it looks like its had the good old Sulzer treatment as well keep up the good work resurecting these class machines
Hey Lee hope all is well matey .thanks for watching .actually I haven't given it the treatment yet but that will be done in the coming months with a full strip down which is nothing short of what it deserves 😉😁
The red £100 10p play one .it's been stored for a while .would love to find a programmer who can re write the code in the programming to unblock the gamble
@@nedkabinder Wish I’d kept the machines but house buys and kiddies put a stop to it. Would buy a £50.00 if one came available…. If you hear of anything coming up give me a prod. (Yorkshire area) Also had a tv type SideWinder if correct made by ACE but sold to buy Roadrunner
GRAIL machine Nick unbelievable! .....next time you get a mystery nudge im pretty sure the first sweep is pure skill but you have to be quick...let me know if it works ...also i couldnt help but notice ,like me when you get a nudge gamble you sweep your gamble hand from right to left to mentally make it win lmao Fab machine well done fella :-D

Great machine, loved it
Wow there's a slight difference between those two machines. I actually have a royal exchange as well .

Well spotted .no it pays all wins on multi shuffles over £1:50 in tokens
Not as hard to get the jackpot on, as Frog Hop
Yeah fh was pretty mean too .
