Note. When building steamships with sail rigging, you have the option to omit the sails.
Early steamships had the sail rigging as a backup propulsion in case the engines failed. They wouldn’t unfurl the sails while the engines were running because the sparks and cinders from the boilers could light the sails on fire.

Hi thanks, I would say the easiest ship i have is the Arundel Castle, Its still a large ship but its design is fairly simple :)

Rich I’ve followed your ship builds for a fair few years now, and still live in hope that an interior will be added one day 😂 I do my best to add them to my copies of your ships! Looking forward to seeing what you do in 2020. The biggest ship I did of yours was the queen mary 2, that was a nightmare, now I try stick to keels no longer than 300 to save time... although I might try another large one in the new year! Happy holiday season to ya from down in New Zealand! Taylor.
Nightmare? The only part I struggled with was the front superstructure, under the captain's bridge. And currently, I plan on building a container ship that'll be 1,206 blocks long finished. The keel alone is just under 980 blocks.
Kaptain Sal nightmare as I tend to try and add full interiors myself except for an engine room.. and on that ship it was insanely large and took forever

I don't do interiors at all. On passenger ships, all I do is make empty cabins with balconies on the side and that's it. No interiors, not even inside the captain's bridge. The only time I'll ever fully create an interior is on the superstructure of a cargo/container ship, as it's only a small part of cargo ships. And apart from all that, I'll build only the engines. Not even the engine room has decorations other than just the engines themselves lol.

a normal commentor traffic also carried luggage for not only the titanic but any ship that needed a tender

When I built carpathia I had the wheelhouse as white concrete but I made it oak log later because I think it looks better tbh

Hey rich. When you showed QE I thought of an old color photo. It has the MV Kungsholm (1966 Swedish America Line) passing the Queen Elizabeth. As future builds, could you dive into some ships of the SAL?
HI I've not heard of the MV Kungsholm until now, I will look into building it as it has an interesting design :)

Thanks. It’s very sentimental to me and my grandfather as his father was high up in the company (I forget his role). But the kind of big cheese that makes all the employees nervous. He sailed over on the maiden voyage of the ship to meet my grandfather and his family. Quite important to my grandfather as he only met his father when he was 35.

Just a bit extra. She was converted to the Sea Princess later on, but I find the Kungsholm configuration better.
Can you mayby also build the sistership of the ss Rotterdam the ss nieuw Amsterdam?

Great video about your ships! For 2020 would you consider revisiting the SS America as that she would be great to have with the United States? If you need any help I have a lot of reference material for you to work from just in case.

Hey Rich quick correction, both nomadic and traffic served titanic and olympic. Nomadic was 1st and 2nd class and traffic was 3rd class

Hi yes it is possible, but it only works on the PC version, If you have the PC version then you need to install the World Edit mod first :)
