Best Ever Photography Ever! I got so emotional. What our fighters and pilots represent to me is so much more heartfelt than words I will ever have to express. Thank You for sharing your talent and photography expertise for someone who does not understand too much about anything, but knows she sure does love these sights and sounds. God Bless America.
Happy you enjoyed Diane ✈️✈️😎
Love how some of the pilots approach with the mentality of Let's make this look cool AF for the guys on the hill.
2:04 is the perfect example, he even tips his wing at the end, a definite nod to the watchers.
"Past three years" that explains why I rememeber some of the stills. 3:00 is really one of a kind and I was shocked to see "the same situation" happening again. Look forward to your new pieces of superb work!
Thank you 👍
Nothing beats your f15s. I love their distinctive whine as they go by. Pity an enemy on such hills listening to that sound!
That is one beautiful airframe........My buddy USAF Major flew these for 10 years and loved it out of the Pan Handle of Florida. We called him "Top Gun" used to drive him crazy, but he did have a good sense of humor. Unfortunately after he retired he gave flying up completely said he had the time of his life and will spend the time with his family. All the blessings to you throttle jockies...................Thanks again for the rush Dafydd.
Stunning footage, stunning photography, stunning views, i really should go here one day!
The still pic at the three min mark is just sick. That should be a poster.
Incredible shots! Stunning footage and beautiful scenery
Thank you. 👍
Each and everytime great video, great pictures and sound that gives me goosebumps.
Thanks roger
Happy you enjoyed 👍
Amazing, brilliant. I never can decide if I am fascinated by the pilot or the beauty of this technology . The pilots are super human.
fantastic footage! can’t believe how close they get!
Moc12321 thanks Moc 👍
Fantastic. I love the static camera shots with the planes flying through the frame.
Many thanks.
CLASS VIDEO!! Thank you! Спасибо вам!!
Loved it all, bit my highlight was the still at 3:00 with the depression clouds forming over the whole back of the beast, as these F15's are a big fighter to fling around!
Cheers.🍻 for sharing brother.👍 Rich.😎
Cheers rich, appreciate you watching 👍
@@DafyddPhillips I appreciate you sharing way more than you could me watching, as in Perth Australia, we barely ever get to see this stuff, as Perth is just a training ground for small turboprop & few small jets like the Hawk, let alone no air shows since 2008! This is my air shows thanks to you brother.👍 Much appreciated! Cheers.🍻 Rich.😎
Can you imagine that someone thought up the F-15s in 1967 and it first flew in 1972?! It still seems so modern. They had amazing designers in the 60s.
So VERY impressive as always...LOVED all the still shots at the end...I just love these and keeps my US Navy aviation electrician days fresh..Thank you sir :)
Thanks again, very nice video and awesome still pictures !
Beauty vapor off the plane, wish I could frame shots like that. Thank you for sharing
¡¡¡ QUE FOTOS MÁS GUAPAS PHILIP!!
Excellent shots mate!
Some very spectacular footage and great stills this time. Thanks.
0:10 The huge American flag planted triumphantly on a presumably Welsh mountainside seemed a bit questionable but it's not *my* mountain either.
Thank you. We like to plant the flag for the pilots to know we’re here 🇺🇸🇺🇸✈️😎
It's how they keep a welcome in the hillsides for visitors!
@@DafyddPhillips Thank You. Great start to the video.
More amazing footage and I love the stills! Thanks!
USAF & RAF THE BEST !!!!!
That countryside has got to be some of the best to fly over absolutely gorgeous. As usual a two thumbs up 👍👍
Thank you 😎👍👍
Forget any airshow... like Iron Maiden said: "Run to the hills... "
One of your best yet 😍
Love, love, love this!!! Thanks for sharing with us!
Happy you enjoyed tami 😎👍
Great video.. thank you,,, and especially for traveling 4 hours to the middle of no where....
Thank you 👍
I am running out of words to praise you. My favourite part is between 03:37 and 03:50, that guy in his Orange jacket reminded me of Robert De Niro from The Deer Hunter. De Niro was with his gun and here that dude is with his Canon (looks like it...) Apart from the resemblances, the way the Eagle entering from the right side of frame is STUNNING !!! I will ogle at that sight for a lifetime.
Fantastic video again Dafydd, thanks for sharing.
Excellent Daffyd as usual. Thanks I still miss the flying through there.
Thanks Christina 😎
Nice work
Thank you 👍
Excellent. Thank you.
Terrific photos...

Absolutely fantastic work again Dafydd, I'll deffo be watching this some more over the next few days, I'm still itching to get into the loop soon to see how low n loud they go in person. Well done sir, your a master at your craft. Stay safe and keep up the excellent work 👍👏👏🌈

Dafydd Phillips You bet👍
Hummm j'adore ce son...dans mon.top 5 des choses que je mettrai sur ma liste avant de quitter ce monde...assister a un de ces shows en Live 😉👍
Absolutly outstanding shots. You are a master. My dream is to go there one day.
Thank you. Hope you get lucky when you go ✈️✈️✈️👍
Stunning as always. I'll have to get there one of these days...
What a treat !
Birds of prey. Awesome. 😎✌
This is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time, and I'm super fuckin' jealous of those guys on the hill.
Another fantastic video Dafydd. This where photographers should come instead of hanging around the base at Lakenheath. That NATO badged plane has been in our airspace quite a lot this past fortnight. Its brilliant that you plant a flag so they know you are there. BTW Wales has the best terrain in the world for these low level flights (I maybe biased because I am half Welsh lol).
Diolch 🏴😎
Love spotting...
Old, but still the most armed, most bad ass, most scary bird in the air.
And a Raptor will shoot down four of them before the F-15's even know there's an adversary in the area. But nice try.
Always great Mr👌👏
Thanks Chris 👍
Thanks Chris 👍
@@DafyddPhillips thanks for all your great videos
Best video yet

THIS NEVER GETS OLD ✈
Never

Oh man You lucky bugga. I don’t get to watch any Fast Jets this year😢. Exercise Pitch Black has been cancelled 😱. Awesome footage & beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃

Sensational
Very kuul as usual. Magic.
AWESOME
Great stuff as always !.................someday I want to check out Rainbow/Jedi canyon when things hopefully get back to normal
Thanks Jeff
We can only hope 🤞✈️
2:35 --- i see what you did there : ))
good job!
Bro your ending was tight as fuck. 💪
Amazing. Brilliant 👏. I dont suppose you got a grid reference of this place .or where on a map this was please. 👍
You just need to google Mach loop. I wouldn’t rush as not much flies through there these days sadly
Happy you enjoyed it 👍
It's freaking insane how fast these pilots fly this low.90°+ angles of bank betray danger close approach speeds.
Difficult task to lock them on in your viewfinder. Photographic wizardry I'd call it!!!.
Wow, love it!
Who gives this thumbs down?!
These are fantastic captures!
Chicomacheeno THE JEALOUS ENEMY! 😁
@@tundrawhisperer4821 yup just Trolls...
Solid.
Thanks Si 👍
❤️
Epics images! Are you using 200-400 type lens?
Thanks Gary.
I’m using a 300mm f2.8.
nice 👍🏼
Thanks moo Xxxxxx
AMERICAN MUSCLE!!!! GREAT JOB BRO!!!! MAGA!!!!
Some of the best footage of fast jets I've ever seen. Are your still shots actual still shots or extracted from the footage? (If they are frame grabs they are incredibly sharp!). What camera and lens are you using for the video? You must be handheld, and yet your shots are super smooth and stable. Well done.
He has said he straps one video camera to the lens on his still camera, while running another video camera on a tripod.
Another great compilation of shots here, Dafydd! Ya gotta love that great old workhorse, the F-15! Hard to believe it has been in service for 45 years! By the way, was this filmed in Utah?
Its from wales in u.k mate.
@ 2:59...vaping, done right.
Mr Gone 😂
F 15 - The king of the skies !
Do they fly there all the time or just at certain dates? If so, how do you know they fly there?🤔
They used to fly most weekdays but. It so much these days
Top
Hi Dafydd it's me Jamie, I would love to go to that location myself! I think that location is in Wales, do you know the name of the place?
Low and fast makes it hungry for jp. So tank me up before I go down, down.....before just i become a memory. Aim high go usaf!
Great footage, where did this take place?
Thanks. In snowdonia
@@DafyddPhillips Do you mean Snowdonia National Park in the the UK?
crypto graph yes 👍
@@cryptograph7204 The following is copied from the Wikipedia page for 'Mach Loop' (so go there for more information):-
"The Mach Loop (also known as the Machynlleth Loop) is a series of valleys in the United Kingdom in west-central Wales, notable for their use as low-level training areas for fast jet aircraft and propeller-driven aircraft."
@@Sue474 Thank you Sue G, I really appreciate the information. 🙂🙂🙂
Absolutely beautiful video and countryside! They could have at least shot out a few flares for you after seeing that American Flag!
Thanks Dafydd
Or a little reheat 🚀🚀😍
Happy you enjoyed 👍
What are the average air speeds that they fly past usually?
Approx 500kts Dane. Pretty scary at that altitude 😬
221 has an AIM-9X on it. I wonder when they started loading those on the E models!?
Mash the shutter and hope for the best!
Spray and prey I like to say
@@DafyddPhillips and - nothing wrong with that given your equipment! Wonderful photos and video by the way...
why are there only f15's?
I’ll puts something different planes in another video next time 👍
Dafydd Phillips dont get me wrong i love the f15 but is this just particular days where they only fly lots of f15s?
Would these have come from Lakenheath?
Yes, LN on the tail is Lakenheath 👍
How do u know where to go I would take some vacation days off work to watch
You don’t know,, you just sit it out and hope 🤞
