- What is YOUR favorite method for cooking beef ribs?
Since BEEF RIBS are MY favorite of the big barbecue meats, I decided to make another video on that subject. This video was inspired by a recent video published by Myron Mixon because of the technique he used and also simply because I picked up an amazing rack of beef plate ribs from Patton's Meat Market in Duluth, GA when I visited Atlanta Grill Company last week.
This method is something you NEED TO TRY! I have to admit that these were the most tender beef ribs I have ever cooked. The method Myron Mixon provided in his video of finishing in a foil covered pan with some liquid to a meat temperature of 210°F was a sure winner in this project.

Yeap , "STEAK ON A STICK"! Mmm, good!
Great video love a good beef rib and a great place for folks to stark with bbq
Yabba Dabba DOOOOOO! Love 'em those are what Freddy Flintstone had laid onto his car and it tipped over (remember?). Love 'em, at Sam's Club they sell them but they're Flanken Cut, you have to get the guys attention, and ask 'em for the plate ribs, just as they are! Expensive but boy are they WORTH IT!
Looks delicious John , I gotta try it.
What’s is the rationale for the butcher paper?
He doesn't want the foil touching the meat.
Salts in the rub can dissolve the aluminum.
