Upgrading ETH is becoming slower and messier, ADA upgrades are more frequent now and organized. The wait for ADA to be be made properly is starting to show how important it is.

ETH wishes it could be Cardano... the Ethereum Foundation doesn't even know how they will shard the mainnet yet. Meanwhile, Cardano is building Hydra l2 scaling that has the potential to transact over 1 million tps.
Im team cardano too, but we need a loooot more of adoption to use the 1m tps. Right now we haveing 70k tx per day. And the top was nov 21 with 230k tx per day. So we will see
I think when the economic advantage of tps begins to show Ether heads will transition. I dont think ethereum will necessarily end but its dominamce will definitly shrink.

Just look at the current ones, eth is around 32$ vs ada about 9 cents. They are both upgrading to be faster and cheaper fees, cardano will eventually do 1 million transactions per seconds, eth will just not make it there, it was good until a new it project fixed the flaws
Cardano has little to no issues? It has plenty of issues that it hopes to fix with Vasil. I could list a few that are rather big but I’m not here to bash any chain. They both will have their place, just as Solana, Algorand, Avalanche and others.

Video out of date. Most dapps on Cardano are waiting for Vasil later this month. As for upgrades, Cardano is always delayed by several months. Ethereum is always delayed by several years. It's just harder to upgrade Ethereum because so much is already built. Yet proof of stake Ethereum this month as well. It won't necessarily help gas fees but it will make it faster than it is now. It's really just established but older technology (but also more familiar to developers) vs newer but still partially in progress. Unseating Ethereum is tough. (Unseating Bitcoin even harder despite it having no advantages). Cardano could, mostly because crypto is still new so established doesn't mean as much in this space. But it might not. And why is Bitcoin still a thing?
Cardano has a whole marketing plan about being cheaper & faster but if they would have the same traffic like ethereum they wouldn’t make their claims come true
This is a ridiculous statement! Cardano doesn't get more expensive with more traffic like ETH, and transactions don't fail and cost you! If you do the research you will see for yourself.
So you had to explain Proof of Work like we were 5 years old but in the end you say L2 solutions and leave it there. You say 250 tps for Cardano although the transactions are not comparable in this form with transactions on Ethereum and yet you forget to mention Cardano’s daily transaction volume which more often comes second after Bitcoin. Nice, I will not subscribe, I will not like.
They can be exactly equal in hashes required to hack it, so technically they are both equally secure. It's just that PoW has artificially created difficulty (for rewards purposes only) and technically a drop in tital hashing speed can result in longer block times. (Making it "less" secure only because of missed block times. Not like this will result in actual hacking and/or double speed, but the blockchain should be more regular)

Pos is overall a better choice. Otherwise you should be able to explain why almost no project are POW and all or most are POS or another form.. People who say POW is best..they are prolly BTC maxis...should not learn anything from these guys in the crypto space since their knowledge is limited to their own project. There is a reason also why ETH goes from POW to POS.. And then you also have to define secure... If POW is energy consumption and relies on electricity to do its bidding...ask yourself in a world where global prices are rising how viable it will remain for any project to remain stable in their network. Eventually it will destroy the little guys..and only big corporation with huge power creation will remain in charge. If that your defintion of security..then sure. It would be nice to see something which could step into ETH's, very big shoes, but no one's there yet. Personally I most interested in seeing what Polkadot will do in the future.
As for taking sides I'm on ALL. I'd like to think we all want a faster, secure way to transact on the blockchains so why take sides? The way I see it...use what works best for you! Both ETH and ADA have their advantages and disadvantages so do your research.
SOL, DOT, MATIC, AVAX all are fighting with ETH and a good alternative of ADA. ETH is trying to grow more in a sustainable way with lots of its developers and money. Time will say, ETH is more powerful in the current ecosystem. But, crypto can crash over time. CBDCs is the future. No ways! Note it.

I was designed and tested academically with consideration for government and financial use. Haskell is a far superior language despite being more complex and the L1 handling items like ID on chain rather than in smart contracts gives it far far greater security. This will become public knowledge soon enough.

I think you are correct. However, the Merge for ETH is NOT an easy fix/ switch. Lots of things can go hay wire! Hope not, but possible. It may take longer for TOTAL completion.
It doesn't change the fee structure and MOST OF ALL! Cardano has self Costody staking! You know the whole 'be your own bank' ' not your keys not your crypto' thing... really the whole point of crypto.
Their smart contract doesnt even work well. And The tranaction speed they are going to increase will only be for transactions not smart contracts lol. Cardano is slow and expensive to tons of other layer 1 chains

Doesn't work well??? I use cardano dapps every day never had an issue, yes it was a tad slow the 1st couple weeks but what do u expect from brand new tech. Remember we are investing in early tech, otherwise go invest in Google or Microsoft!

I like Parachains and how Polkadot copied Cardano's Ouroboros design. I just think Cardano's scaling solution with eUTxO based side-chains (coupled with Hydra) is a better long-term solution to scaling. Plus, I prefer how Cardano has prioritised Decentralisation & Governance. Polkadot has marketed itself to GameFi in particular, and I think that's cool.
What Cardano says "will be in the future", is already done in Everscale (reworked Telegrams TON Blockchain) ! So it is just a vast portion of hype re Cardano

I think you are correct. However, the Merge for ETH is NOT an easy fix/ switch. Lots of things can go hay wire! Hope not, but possible. It may take longer for TOTAL completion.
Plus, the merge won't fix Ethereum's problems, it has to spend many more years fixing itself so it can compete.
It doesn't change the fee structure and MOST OF ALL! Cardano has self Costody staking! You know the whole 'be your own bank' ' not your keys not your crypto' thing... really the whole point of crypto.

As much a I love cardano. There is one problem. haskel and plutus is difficult and there are less programmers working on cardano environment.
Their smart contract doesnt even work well. And The tranaction speed they are going to increase will only be for transactions not smart contracts lol. Cardano is slow and expensive to tons of other layer 1 chains

Doesn't work well??? I use cardano dapps every day never had an issue, yes it was a tad slow the 1st couple weeks but what do u expect from brand new tech. Remember we are investing in early tech, otherwise go invest in Google or Microsoft!

I like Parachains and how Polkadot copied Cardano's Ouroboros design. I just think Cardano's scaling solution with eUTxO based side-chains (coupled with Hydra) is a better long-term solution to scaling. Plus, I prefer how Cardano has prioritised Decentralisation & Governance. Polkadot has marketed itself to GameFi in particular, and I think that's cool.
