Collaborate better using Sheet View in Excel

Collaborating and co-authoring in Excel can be frustrating. If one person changes the worksheet view - applying filters and sorting - it applies for all users. This can be really disruptive.
Fortunately, Excel offers a feature called "Sheet View" which lets you create a temporary view just for you. In this view, your custom changes won't impact others and their custom views won't impact yours.
This is a great feature to use whenever you're working in a shared Excel file.

I noticed if filtering is disabled it disables it for everyone.

But this doesn't work for hidden columns/cells. Do you know a way where only myself can see hidden columns/row? Everytime i do it at work, it affect everybody's work? Thank you in advance

How do I prevent multiple collaborators editing each other's entries. In other words, I want my students to provide certain information in the same sheet, but I don't want to allow anyone edit another's text. Is there a way to do this?
