hello, may I ask you why very package I download that has a .nfo file with it only gives me my system specs only? I mean it should show something about the package it´s in or am I wrong

Sorry it's not working, I would suggest trying WordPad otherwise the file may potentially be corrupted.

Thank you but .nfo files wont open in readable texts. and that is the point.

Sometimes yes but some NFO files are readable hence the reason for the guide.
