Hey Milwaukee I just bought this blower even though I have an Ego 765 cfm model. And I'm not really happy with this expensive 2824-20 model. you could have done way better. This thing vibrates like crazy compared to the Ego. My Ego 765 blows 2x4 20" blocks of wood like leaves . The Milwaukee 2824-20 has mediocre power and my hand still feels the vibration as I'm typing this. You need to make a 800 to 1000 cfm blower. In mx or 36v and work on te vibration. If eg can do it you can too. Hopefully this gets a gen 2 to work out te bugs and low power
Watched some poor chap trying to blow leafs with a Stihl battery blower the other day, it was pitiful! Certainly wouldn't knock Milwaukee quality but my Husqvarna 525BX is the best hand held I've ever used, followed by the Makita MM4! I do also have a Stihl 86C but only use it in vac mode as its a bit gutless as a blower in my opinion! Autumn in the UK is generally very wet, so I need something with grunt, the Husky 525BX gives me just that!
I'd like to see a scraper blade attachment for the front. Every once in a while, I come across something that is wet, or has been run over or otherwise pressed to the ground, and the wind from the blower can't get under it or elevate it so, I scrape it with a flat shovel or my boot. I have also been known to lightly scrape with the front of the blower tube.
Hi jragadio, I have the previous one battery blower and I love it. Plenty of power. It does what I need for my yard. After using the one I have, I have no need for the dual battery blower.
And you get more than 15 min of runtime with a gas blower. And when you do run out of gas, it's 30 second to refill and you're blowing again vs waiting hours for the batteries to recharge. Blows my mind anyone would want a battery powered blower. Oh, and those batteries will degrade over time after being recharged over and over, so that 15 min of runtime will only go down. Hard pass.
I own previous model, use it regulary with wet/dry leaves and other garbage and I'm 100% satisfied with its performance. New one must be a beast

These aren't available here in Ireland yet but it is something to look forward to
Needed this review... I bought one and I have mixed thoughts 💭
I’d love to hear your feedback… I’m considering upgrading from the single battery model.

Thank you, PTR! 😁👍
I wanna get this and the chainsaw to start a small landscaping maintenance side hustle
How does this compares to the previous blower from Milwaukee?

It is a lot more powerful.
@@jmackinjersey1 haha. How much power does one need? Is the first Gen not powerful enough?
@@jragadio Love the first Gen, but they do have limitations when it comes to pushing a lot of leaves. For those areas, i generally use a rake.
How much do the batteries cost?
That's the kind of question where I'd say "if you have to ask, you don't need to know." but I digress, like an additional 500 dollars.
@@jloomis7 I got two High Output 6aH batteries with a grinder for 229 from Home Depot the other day. Not so expensive if you look for deals.
They should improve the tube locking to the body of the blower over time it becomes loose. Ego has a better design in that respect.
So, the batteries cost 299 dollars a piece and the blower is 200? That's expensive compared to a gas powered one for 200 dollars.

Batteries can be had for $10 per ah. Where do you get $299 per battery
15 min of runtime and then hours to recharge. lol no thanks, I'll stick with my gas blower.
What are you charging with? My charger takes about 16 minutes from zero to full on an 8ah.
Here's obviously someone that hasnt actually used quality battery powered tools in the last 10 years haha.
