109,99€ - Seriously !? Are we still talking about simracing... I mean VIDEO GAMES !?

The lack of raceroom and Automobilista support is dissapointing, and the price is predictably stiff--I would say unacceptably so. I honestly expected this to be half the money they are charging, considering that 75% of the functions and telemetry are *already* covered by in-game or free add-on tools. I know Racelogic likes charging an arm and a leg, but this is downright egregious.

Egregious wouldn’t be my choice of word, but I hear you. It’s a lot. Thanks for watching just the same!

LOL, at $120 or so this is 2 to 3 times more expensive than sims that you'll use them with - that's a bit stiff for most sim racers budgets, a bit like asking a team that's just bought a $500'000 GT3 for a further million just for some data logging and pretty graphs.
I think Racelogic has missed a trick here. At the current price very few sim racers will actually buy it. Therefore Racelogic makes very few sales and very little money. Drop the price to $20 and they'll sell a whole lot more and make a whole lot more.
With this Racelogic has shown that they have totally failed to understand the market that they're trying to exploit.

MoTec i2 Pro --> for free, why would anybody buy this for flippin 109 EUR !?, but that's their politics and not your fault, so thx for the review anyway! :)

Seems like a great tool, but the price is ridiculous IMO. Especially considering that except for video, it doesn't seem to be that different to MoTeC.

The pricing is rather stiff, it costs me more than some modules for DCS or the whole Desert Wings Tobruk Addon for IL-2 Cliffs of Dover....at release not on current price....So what data can we see besides the ones you showed us. And given that my costliest module was the Tomcat and that includes the F-14A and F-14B as well as a future, slightly downgraded A for Iran....with full systems simulation and an AI RIO...yeah that makes VBoxsim a bit pricey.
That's a price range where you can expect near perfection and a host of features with the lack of R3E support being a glaring omission, and no official support for AMS or AMS 2?
Sorry at that price I do expect support for all current major sims.
Hell we can get that from Crew Chief, which is free.
Can you tell us what data is trackeable besides what you showed us?
One of my pet peeves is ride height to check if it bottoms out or to see if it impacts aero efficiency.
Your Review got the big points done well, but we need more on the nitty gritty. I think the Circuit Tools side would've deserved a bigger chunk of the review video.
Just my two cents, otherwise well done.

This is a great review of VBOX, but how do I know where to gain time if I'm only comparing to my own laps? Is there any database with laps from other fast drivers that I could pull up and compare to(basically like VRS' data packs) or is only stuff you record yourself?

A very powerful piece of software used in real world motorsport brought to sim racing. I can see support to new sims being incorporated as time goes on. Iracing wasn’t initially supported when you could use the vbox Laptimer hardware to get the vbo files. For anyone looking to get quicker this is a useful tool.

Well this is great Mike - a bit of fantastic software to tell everyone how slow I REALLY!!! am - as apposed to me "conning" them into thinking I'm just slow in, but fast out.............
Do you hate me or something, Mr SimRacing604, hahahahaha. Another awesome and very helpful video for our ever growing Sim-Racing Community. Cheers Mike. [;]-)

Thank you, You bought this telemetry tool so we don't have to play in our head "should I buy or should I not" while hovering the "buy" button.
Realistically for me, I'm too slow for introducing telemetry into my routine. Which is asking myself how much free time I have and then if it's an hour, ~20min practice and 30min race. If I came close to a second behind aliens, then I will definitely buy some telemetry tool. Currently, for ACC it looks like Nils software would be the best for ACC because you have access to (his?) telemetry and if I'm not mistaken to setups too.

Thx for Great Review, Mike! I was looking at this software a few wks ago, but wasn't sure of what I would get for the price, or if additional hardware/software would also be req'd to match Motec. I installed Motec instead, but it's just data. Your review told me what I wanted to know! Video comparison seems like a real timesaver, and more informative for most average sim racers, compared with Motec! Thx Again! :)

Looks good, didn’t realise it supported iracing now. There site doesn’t list it 😞The price seems far enough. Considering the audience is tiny they have to cover development and ongoing support costs. I guess they will add new sims as they come out. The video function is the killer feature for me, I always struggle with consistency in braking areas and it would be great to compare a good lap with poorer laps. Does it capture the video in software or using a capture device? Thanks for the review.

I've played around with MoTec in AC a bit but I sort of remember something like this available in either RSR Live timing or part of some league servers I was using at the time. You didn't have video replay but it would map out a line in the track map to show your racing line.
