Just finished this Classic robusto paired with Fortaleza blanco tequila. Wow what a wonderful smoke journey. I’d say it hovers just below medium strength and has some really interesting notes of cedar, nuts and sweetness that I couldn’t quite pinpoint. It also burned true and slow. Definitely picking up more of these. They’re flying under the radar.

This is a spot on review, I tried one of these at my local cigar shop and it is a great stick for the price.
I just bought a box of the robusto for my humidor.

Usually keep a few H. Upmann in the humidor, need another 5 pack. Tried your last recommendation on the 1844 ANEJO, it was a very comfortable and relaxing smoke; WILL try the Classic.

You are correct sir, the retrohale has a peppery bite to it.

I must prefer the other two in this line. For me I’m not getting a strong sense of what the flavor really is, which is why I came to this video :-)

Why don’t you retro hale anymore? Just curious. I’m a big fan of H Upmann so I’ll keep an eye out for these. Thanks.
