Drawing from esoteric and mythical traditions, where the land of dreams is placed within the darkness of the underworld, arises the "House of the Black Geminus". Through labyrinthine halls, shadowed corridors, cellars of dread, and attics of epiphany, as ordeal and ecstasy meet at the vertices where each beholds his own daemon.

Brutal. can't wait for the whole album. The "slow" passage at about 7:30 is, in my opinion, the hardest part of the whole song. I listen to it several times in a row and it still gives me chills

the first 30 sec alone are oozing with dread and a miasma of darkness and desperation. Akhlys does it again to no ones suprise. Was lucky to catch them live at their visit to germany and it was phenomenal and worth the 2 hours of getting to the venue. Aside from that im preordering asap.
Dave Otero is the unsung hero here, and has been for a long time. What a master of atmosphere and production in general. Naas’ music and Dave’s prowess is such a vicious and winning combo. Can’t wait

I’m very particular with what “Black Metal” I enjoy. This hits the perfect wavelength of what I like in Black Metal. The window of enjoyment is so small, but this hits it perfectly! Only about 3-4 Black Metal bands I enjoy, this is one of them.

I was wondering how they can top or will evolve after the masterpiece Melinoë, but WTF they are getting better and better. Great progress in melodies, but still Akhlys to the core.
As some1 who religiously worships the sound of Melinoe and The Dreaming I, this one seems sliiiightly underwhelming and simpler in comparison to it's predecessors, it's just not as venomous and sinister as the previous work 😥 Also, I can't wrap my head around the ,,Metal Zone" lead guitar tone...I mean,I'm not claiming in my humble opinion that it is bad,nonono,far from it - it's just that the song sounds ,,inferior" to the skills and brains of Naas and the crew, as we all know which monstrosities they can create. Nevertheless, I'm impatiently waiting for the whole album!
I hear you on the metal zone tone. It's a weird decision, but (I assume) a deliberate one. It might make more sense in context of the full album.

This song has a rather melancholic, dreamy and darkly atmospheric vibe for me, than a hauntingly sinister one.
Akhlys always moves between disturbingly dissonant feelings like Ephialtes or Tides of oneiric darkness and more the ones like just described above f.e. Breath and Levitation.

It´s amazing, how much they achieve using so simple, almost primitive way of composition. Very clever writing. And production seems even better than Melinoe, but hard to say considering youtube sound quality. Great song.

I much prefer the guitar tone here than on Melinoe and I do truly enjoy that LP. It kinda has a Beketh Nexehmu vibe to it.

This album has been intriguing to investigate further into the meaning of the lyrics, which I feel like I'm vaguely understanding. It definitely ties into the work of the previous album at least from my understanding. Maybe more directly since its research and not an interview asking personally. More Greek kind of understanding or something around there. Googling shit to understand. Its been fun. Any more occult stuff to look into anyone? I want to learn more about that even if it's less academic, maybe preferably not academic. I'd prefer non-biased knowledge.
