To celebrate #fathersday, our producer, Monica, talked to Pork Roll's parents about his needy personality and why his dad built him the ultimate "throne on wheels" 💙

Dog is way too co dependent. I love my dog, however This dog is too spoiled. The dog seems to be overweight as well. Matter of fact, he looks obese, and very lethargic. Meaning this dog doesn't exercise or play to be healthy. Seems like the dog just sits around wanting to be cuddled and petted. The dog will probably catch diabetes, if they don't make some serious changes.

It's so sad. I have a 12yr old blue pit bull and she is the BEST. My husband and I call her the nurse of the family she's always by anyone's side who needs her. Has been with me through all 3 pregnancies, 2 miscarriages, and is BEST friends with my baby. We are very lucky to have her.
@@nicowood7831 My husband and I used to have a pitbull. Her name was Mama Mia. We got her when she was a puppy and my husband trained her. She never barked though. Mama Mia was the absolute best child (pets are family) that we've ever had. She was my husband's best friend. He has chrones disease and had to have surgery. She stayed by his side.
This isn't a pitbull, it's an American Bully. Closesly related but 2 seperate breeds.

@@HoolyDooly-si2zz You mean a collar? If they behave they can have the harness. Otherwise they get the collar (which dogs CAN handle), and if they misbehave you get the prong collar.(The one with rubber tips on the inside.) You either have a small dog or don't know how to train them properly.
Edit- by misbehaving, I mean pull too much, especially in public space.
@@HoolyDooly-si2zz I really do think you are nice, cuz I understand your point of view, but where I live we have a sh** ton of strays. When you are taking care of them you want them to be adopted, to do that you have to train them. Something you simply cannot do with a harness...

It's called seperation anxiety. Separation anxiety can develop in dogs for a number of reasons, but the most common is that they have never learned that it is ok to be alone.

It is called a pet owner, wacko, smh. The only valid way he can be a dad is if he has at least one child, animals are not children sooo do not be ridiculous and respect animals as what they are, people and animals are not relatives.
WHAT A DARLING BABY !! He is SO beautiful !! I found a puppy in a dumpster, took him to a Vet, soon as I got off work. The Vet said he was ONLY a few hours old. Actually, he was SO tiny, I didn't even know If he WAS a puppy. Anyway, he cried ALL the time & I fed him with an eye dropper for the first three weeks, then, I began to give him Gerber's baby food, liver, chicken & different kinds of fruit. He FINALLY stopped crying about four weeks later. Well, that was FOURTEEN YEARS ago, this coming August. I think he thought I was his mom & he has NEVER left my side. Even when I go to the store & come home a couple of hours later, You would think I had been gone for several years. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing like the love & loyalty of a pet, NOTHING. Well, he's older now, has trouble walking, losing his hearing & losing his eyesight, but, what the Hell, so am I, LOL BTW, he is half Chihuahua & half Beagle. LOVE YOUR PETS, LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW !!

I've had several dogs, 2 pits, and they really are the best dogs. Treat them right, train them right, and they are exceptional
@@petermorgan5303 I'm watching Rocky Tanaka, "Sitting With Dogs" right now, and I have one of my niece's dogs in my lap. She always prefers a lap. My own Yorkie-Russell is a little jealous, but he prefers being up on the back of the sofa, so he can survey the house. Rocky has a cattle dog of some sort in his lap. He was completely shut down at first, but now he is opening up and accepting treats and pets.
I too believe it is all in how you raise a dog. Rescue Pitties seem to recognize they have been rescued and loved, and they are especially affectionate, and almost velcro-like. I've seen it with Lee Asher's dogs, too. I'm a sucker for dogs, can you tell? 🐶🐕🦮🐕🦺

I have fostered many pitties that were starved, abused and neglected, and they are by far the most loving, loyal, and cuddly dogs I have ever had the pleasure of caring for. It breaks my heart because the community I live in now doesn't allow them, I would be honored to own my very own pit bull.

I've only ever met one pit that was aggressive and he had always been kept outside on a short chain and never socialized, I'd be aggressive if I had to live like that. ALL the others were total sweethearts who just wanted to sit on my lap and give me kisses. I hate how irresponsible owners have given the entire breed a bad reputation. I have an almost 13 y/o blue APBT female named Sarabi, got her at 15 weeks, and the bond we have is exactly like your bond with Pork Roll.
