I play this on a Tera Onion Mega SD on my real model 2 Genesis from when I was a kid. It works just fine on real hardware. Pyron has absolutely pushed the Genesis to its limits here with both color and sound. While having almost 3 times the processing power of the SNES, the Genesis's color palate really limits its visuals by limiting it to only 61 of a total 512 possible colors on screen at one time (compared to the SNES's 256 of a total 32,768 possible colors on screen at one time.) That SNES Sony-made sound chip also makes the SNES version of SFII Turbo sound better than the arcade in my opinion. Still, because of the speed and that sweet sweet Genesis 6-button controller, if I'm ever playing Champion Edition or Hyper Fighting at home, I'll pick Remastered Edition on my Genesis over SFII Turbo on the SNES from now on. That all said, if I really want to play Street Fighter II, I play Super Turbo on the Saturn.

Of Course it would work on real hardware, played it on my Mega Retron HD
