Duke is much more refined fun to ride bike, it corners well, more precise and agile in comparison, for me it's a easy pick but the only reason that might lead me towards ns would be if u need a 400CC badge on ur bike, I am not saying being the cheapest comes with reliability issues, it's not bad at all but in comparison I would pick duke over ns. btw if u end up with NS do remember to save for type swaps, cause it got really average tyres so after clocking some 4-5k odd kilometers it's better to change with more stickier ones that will improve the experience ever further. At the end do take a test rest ride (back to back if possible cause that helps a lot ), it will clear most of the doubts.
@@Abhisek_03 I'm also sure about KTM but I'm worried about long time reliability. I'll keep the bike for around 7-8 years. That's my main concern because KTM updates their bikes in 2-3 years. I'll share my motorcycle history with you my first bike was R15 v2 kept it for 3 years but due to parts unavailability i sold it and purchased hunter 350 but it's not giving the thrill i want. Hunter 350 is a very good motorcycle but it doesn't suit my riding style. The bike can't keep up with my skills that's why I'm thinking for a change
@@susmitghosh93 I think in present days any bike from a almost clean history brand are reliable enough. And about those updates, yes they do launch the update but I don't think that's a big niggle to change buying decisions, we can't stop it, upgrading is a part of life which can't be avoided, if we say for bajaj, we know their service quality, fit n finish is not up to the mark in comparison.. and I am pretty sure every brand will update on their own, so let's keep that part aside cause it's not really in our hands. About those parts availability I don't think any ktm bike is there with parts availability, there may be a delay but either from the manufacturer side or after market there are tons of options.. As u said u aren't a beginner rider so in my opinion u will get bored from both of them in the longer term cause of linear power delivery ( ns 400 ), and calmness of Duke 250. I would prefer u to go for something more challenging cause when a bike questions the rider I've got it do u have the courage to do it? That's a long keeper. Anyways u can improve the performance overtime by some upgrades over the time. ( Upgrades don't include lodd ass exhausts, if u want to know how tell me I will reply next )

@@susmitghosh93 about the updates point of view, c'mon now every manufacturer upgrades their vehicle after around 3-4 years, cause there's new trends, demands, technology etc. are evolving at a great pace and this will happen no matter how hard u think of it, so I don't think that niggle is deal breaker so keep that part aside which isn't in our hands. about that parts concern, I don't think there will be parts shortage or something for the duke, there might be a delay but from manufacturer and after market both parties are strong enough to hold ample amount of parts imo, what u can do is talk to 1st gen and 2nd gen duke owners and that will clarify it further. last point, keeping it for longer term, then I would say try to avoid both and cause as u are not a beginner rider, u might wanna go into something more challenging, the logic behind that is when a motorcycle is really capable of doing things and questions the rider "I've got it do u have the courage the do it?" then it really keep the entertainment factor for the longer time and that's a true long keeper. Anyways if the budget part is involved then there's really nothing more we can do, the thing I suggest in this cases is that, buy the best one (according to you) and then maybe after some 20k odd kms or 2-3 years later u can improve the performance of it (ofc not by upgrading to some loud BS exhaust ), if u want some simple tips u can ask, I will reply next.
