Zero positive things have happened in the last 14 years. Undeniably, almost every problem this country has faced in that time period was easily avoidable. The only issue the tories can’t be blamed for is the pandemic, but their management of the aftermath was poor.
Fundamentally, David Cameron was the worst. He was a ruthless gambler who laid the groundwork for all the excruciating issues that happened to the UK afterward, other than the pandemic.
This all started with David Cameron's austerity... people still suffering from that decision until today... Let's hope this government will make a difference. I wouldn't hold my breath. People have to start writing their own destiny!

The Conservative Party has embarrassed Britain and destroyed its economy. Leaving the EU only led to the flight of thousands of companies and employees to the continent, and the position of Great Britain has fallen so low that even the Netherlands has greater importance in NATO and the EU. The British laughed at the Poles and now Poland is a better place to live, has a stronger army and is more important to the USA.
Meanwhile during all of this, the Markets flourished and a few people got stinking rich with the almost free money that was printed along with IOUs which inflated share prices and assets like property. Inflation is now upon us and the DeBT mountain is huge. The UK is now a broken Nation and is broke with the only option left being printing more money to pay the bills and protect the golden goose which is the Market. That timeline during which we witnessed the billions of printed money dished out to the banks at zero % interest rates for them to spend as they wished……gambled on the Markets and lent out to businesses and individuals at quite low interest rates. The result was a massive increase in debt… The Markets exploded, house prices and rents exploded. Hire purchase came back with a vengeance as we all went out and bought new cars. Now we see the new estates with the two new cars on the drives all on the never never…. The party is over as higher interest rates become the norm and people must pay their debt. But the party cannot be allowed to stop otherwise it is another depression and so what must be done?…. Answer……print more and more money. We are in an inflationary spiral that is impossible to get out of……all because of the Tory greed and self interest.
