I got to meet Selena when she was little 37 years ago. Her family had come to Corpus Christi, TX. To continue with the band. Her dad would visit my ex-father in law and I was invited by my family to eat with them at the restaurant next door to my ex- father in laws business. Selena was very sweet and quite and very observant. They worked very hard to reach stardom.

OMG...went to the museum in May, 2014....A gentleman named Bill gave me and two others an after hours tour!!...while I was taking pictures in the museum, I spotted this beautiful woman walking out of an office...she smiled at me, I said, "Hi how you doin?", then she smiled again and walked into the other office...later, Bill gave us a tour of the recording studio...there I saw a drum kit...I asked him, "Does Suzette ever come here?"...he replied, "that woman you said hi to in the museum...THAT WAS SUZETTE!"...I was so floored...then to top it off, I find out later that "Bill" is SUZETTE'S HUSBAND!...what a trip...felt the whole time that Selena was right there with us..I think any Selena fan ABSOLUTELY has to visit her museum at least once in your lifetime...check out her statue and her resting place as well.

I went to the museum around the year 2001 and I saw Suzette, I was about 5 years old. My sister said hi to her but I remember being too shy to say hi LOL. It was that memorable that I still remember seeing her since I was 5. It was amazing! Now that I'm grown, I'm investing to get her make-up collection from Mac.

I came there to Corpus Christy in November of 2001, and visited her grave which at the time was not enclosed in a gate as well as the museum, I did meet her dad , he seemed sad on the day I visited, probably reflecting on what might have been. It’s sad to think one person could be taken away but yet have given the world a gift of herself. RIP Selena

Selena is one of my biggest heroes and inspirations, having motivated and inspired me to pursue my dreams and goals. I served in the US Army for 3 years (2009-2012). Needless to say there were many people who didn't want me to join because they would worry and didn't want anything to happen, blah blah blah. Then again though, you don't have to be in the military for something bad to happen. We all know what happened to Selena, and she wasn't in the military. >:( RIP Selena, you're always in my heart. But then decided to do the right thing and get married in front of the people and family they love. But, there were many pictures of both Chris and Selena and the whole family. When we went to visit Chris was actually there with the father. They all get along. The father was playing with Chris's baby. Just what I saw.

I came there to Corpus Christy in November of 2001, and visited her grave which at the time was not enclosed in a gate as well as the museum, I did meet her dad , he seemed sad on the day I visited, probably reflecting on what might have been. It’s sad to think one person could be taken away but yet have given the world a gift of herself. RIP Selena

The Selena Boutique is not open in Corpus Christie or in San Antonio. Yes, the Museum, the Selena Statue are still there open to visit. Also, you can still visit her grave site. Selena is one of my biggest heroes and inspirations, having motivated and inspired me to pursue my dreams and goals. I served in the US Army for 3 years (2009-2012). Needless to say there were many people who didn't want me to join because they would worry and didn't want anything to happen, blah blah blah. Then again though, you don't have to be in the military for something bad to happen. We all know what happened to Selena, and she wasn't in the military. >:( RIP Selena, you're always in my heart. Hi Angel, I believe there was a picture of them from their wedding day. Remember they ran away to get married. But then decided to do the right thing and get married in front of the people and family they love. But, there were many pictures of both Chris and Selena and the whole family. When we went to visit Chris was actually there with the father. They all get along. The father was playing with Chris's baby. Just what I saw.
They had a sort of a secret wedding , and the pictures of Selena in a white dress and Chris in a tux was for Suzette's wedding , omg lol
