- When this customer's bother unexpectedly passed away, her sister was left with the almighty mess to deal with. And considering she lives in another state, that's when she called me. The brief was to clean up, mow, and remove everything, ready for a house sale. As you can see, this place is well neglected and has a lot of junk laying around. The customer said I could do whatever I needed to do to get the place back into shape. In the end, I decided to take all the useful, but old, stuff up to the tip shop (landfill reuse shop) and donate it all to them. They were pleased, and the customer was happy with the cleanup and result. All up, I spent around 13.5 hours on this job, with 5 trips to the recyclers and landfill (There was a lot of driving and sorting of useful stuff). This is part 2 of 2.
Part 01: • She faced a GARDENING ...

FAQ's:
Q: Where are you located?
A: I am from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘.
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in over 5 years on the job.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: Mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs.
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin.
Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of bins?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I would say it's because Australia had a temperate to tropical climate, and therefore it doesn't matter that much if they are outdoors. To me, though, it seems a bit inefficient to have them outside in Tasmania with a temperate climate (coldish for 3 - 4 months per year). But that is industry standard down here 🤷♂️
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working. All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved.
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!
Q: Why don't you have help?
A: I've had many problems with employees in the past, so now I work alone.
Q: Why don't you have a ride-on mower?
A: Well, there are a few reasons.
1. I don't have the right trailer for a ride on, considering I always take away the green waste.
2. I don't have anywhere to store it, as my shed is too small.
3. A lot of the properties we do have fences and gates, so you can't actually get a ride-on on to the properties.
4. I don't do enough big jobs to justify spending 15k AUD on a stander, but it would be nice to have one!
5. I will get one as soon as my transport and storage problems are solved.
Q: What happened to your workers?
A: Because the work is so hard and I expect high standards, most have quit over time. The only exception so far is Nick.
Q: What types of ladders do you use?
A: The large one is a Gorilla Adjustable Platform 150kg and the small one is a Gorilla Mighty 19. They are both adjustable.
Q: Who/what is Jim's Mowing?
A: Jim's Mowing is a franchise business. The Jim's Group is the biggest home services franchise in Australia.

Куди ви забираєте стільки добрих іще речей з двору???це схоже на грабіж серед білого дня,не умієте цінити речі,не по хозяйськи це,українці б це ніколи не зробили.
Admittedly, I watch other lawncare videos and often think to myself, George would never leave it like that! Your work is top notch!
hahaha, thank you 🥰
I do that to
Hahaha same here 😅
I do that also
Agreed 👍🏻
With greenery eventhough overgrown was pleasing to the eyes, great effort lot of hardwork superbly cleaned up.
I'm surprised some Real Estate company hasn't snatched you up George. You turn Every property you touch into eye candy for the seller, purchaser and neighbourhoods. I do hope you get the great sense of achievement every time! You earn it! Great work!
Bet that first camelia breathed a sigh of relief! Another great transformation.
У вас золотые руки. Не только наведете везде порядок,так ещё и отремонтируете. Вы - супер!
The plant was a Clivia. They are great growing in shady spots. Come in white, red, yellow and the most common is orange. Generally an expensive plant.
Thank you for naming the plant.
In Deutschland giebt es sie nur als Zimmerpflanzen bei uns ist sie nicht winterhart😁
I know there is an app that when you point your camera to a plant, it will tell you what it is.
Wonderful job, George!
Thank you!
Este hombre es excelente en su trabajo no solo que corta y poda, sino que junta toda la basura harreglar los secos,es el mejor de los otros que e visto saludos desde Argentina
Very nice result. It was a really nice clean-up job that they did there.
Occasionally I felt sorry for the lawnmower as it had to fight its way through everything; mine would have thrown off the grass catcher out of anger.
The result is really impressive, the garden now looks much larger
I love all your videos George and you such a great job. You have a beautiful Australian accent 👍💯🤍
Big job - it was amazing to see fuchsia so large and tree-like - I live in NE USA and it isn't hardy here. As stated by another - you are very meticulous - nice to see such attention to everything you do - above and beyond. Thanks for offering your videos to watch.
Lovely Mr. George❤
This yard is beautiful well done well done. A ton of hard work well done
Love that you let viewers know what type of foliage it has.
Well done George! You really have a neat and tidy eye.👏👏👏👏
It’s the little things you do George that makes your channel so much better than others. Re-stretching the lines on the clothes line to putting a couple of nails on them fence boards etc..
🙌🏼 Up high mate!
У вас дуже корисна і дуже потрібна робота! Бажаю вам сили, здоров'я і вдячних клієнтів! 👍
Люблю дивитися Ваші відео,слідкувати за вашою роботою,ви неймовірний трудівник.Привіт з Ukraine.
Thanks for spoiling us with the plant names. I google the ones that I have not heard of afterwards so I get twice as much out of your vlogs. The garden looks so free and tidy from the tangled mess that it had become from the owner’s passing. I bet he watched with pleasure from above xx
Your work is not matched by many. Stunning transformation and I saw the loose fence boards. The fact that you tidied up the cloths lines made me realize you wouldn't be able to just walk away from those boards without doing something. lol 10 ++ our of 10 rating from me. As always thanks for ID-ing the plants you are working around and on,
What a Grand job/video George 👍🏆♥️ RIP to the gentleman who owed it, he'd be looking down, and saying "Thank you George for your hard work, in bringing my garden back to it's formal glory"❤
I do so enjoy watching you work and seeing the end result. I'm 69 years old with 1 1/2 acres and you've got me out trimming my trees and bushes, cleaning out garden beds and generally making my place look better. Damn you George!😂😂
I’m the same age and he gets me outside, too!
Love this comment! ❤😂
Обожаю смотреть ваши видео! Вы проделываете грандиозную работу. И всегда все чисто, аккуратно. Одно удовольствие!
Outstanding clean up 👏👏👏 I really enjoyed watching your videos stay blessed ❤❤❤
Bravo ! Quel plaisir de voir le fabuleux résultat. 🇨🇵
George, that must be one of your favorite things to hear from a client, "do what you want to make the yard respectable; you have carte blanche." And wow, did you clear it all and make it 100% better! Excellent job! :)
I like watching you clean places up. Also I like how you name the trees and plants.
Watched until 2 am 😮. The person loved gardening seeing all the beautiful plants. You did a fantastic job cleaning up. You went way beyond fixing the fence. 🇨🇦
It would have been so interesting to have had a realtor appraise it before and after your work!
Great job as always George
Ролики очень интересные, залипаю. Труд конечно очень тяжёлый, но вы молодец, всё аккуратно и красиво, браво!!!
You did a wonderful job cleaning it up. The new owners still will need to do a lot of work to make it presentable and functional.
I waited until I saw part 2 this was a beautiful property it was the brothers pride and joy. You made it look beautiful again I hope the sister can sell to someone who will love gardening as much as her brother. Well done 👍
I really love that you clean up as you go.! I think that what you do is the best lawn site on RUclips!
The orange lilies are called Clivia. I think the fuchsia was in the right growing area, as it needs a bit of shade and wind protection.
That's good to know because I think they are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Not only did you clean it up, but you made it seem so much bigger. Awesome job!
You have a great eye! 👍👍
That was a very labor intensive undertaking. The yard looks great now. Thank you for not whacking the clivia and not trying to square off the leaves. That was a beautiful plant. Also the camellias. Great work.
If you had just left blackberries and raspberries for the next owners they would have a wonderful surprise.
As always great work,George ! ...very beautiful home with garden and patio.I have the plant with orange flowers,Clivia... Greetings and nice weekend for you from Italy ❤😊
You can tell that at one time, that poor man enjoyed tinkering in his yard and growing plants! It just got to be too much for him. You brought his yard back to order! PS, I wish I knew the name of that beautiful red flower on the side of the house! Stunning!😊
Someone commented, Clivia plant
@elainewashington4843 thanks for the info!
What a pleasant surprise to wake up ☕to another fantastic transformation. The yard is much more spacious than i originally thought. The front & back yard now is a major selling point, thanks to you George! Have a lovely weekend.
I see this video and I am reminded of Elton John's wonderful song Empty Garden.
" Who lived here?? He must have been a gardener who cared a lot. Pulled the tares and it grew a good crop...".
Thank you for taking such good care of his garden.
I'm sure the new owners will appreciate it.
❤
You are the most perfect and conscientious gardener I have seen. Well done always! ❤
You did a FANTASTIC job!!
Good Morning George! You have done your magic once again, rescuing the heavenly beautiful plants while attacking those diabolical vines. In between you cleated, cleaned and repaired things. I very much enjoy watching your glorious transformations!😊
Çleared😮
Great job 👍
Know your plants, know how to prune and what, super great reclaiming an overgrown, neglected ppty plus the added bonus of clearing away rubbish, well done. Thank you George, you are very particular in your work, blessings from Geelong, Victoria 😊😊
Great job, as always!! You know, when I first discovered your You Tube page, I had all your old videos to go through, so it was really nice. But now, that I have gone through all of them, I have to wait until you have a new one out - not fun!! LOL!
hahaha, it would be nice for an episode a day 🙂
I’d buy the house because that garden is beautiful now! Thank you for letting the camellias shine in their corners - they now look like they were supposed to be. Great call on the Elder - too overbearing and close to the fence. Your gardening skills are a lesson in how to tackle big seemingly insurmountable jobs. One area at a time and one trusty bucket to dump as you go. She must have loved seeing the end result. 😊❤
The orange flowering bulb is a clivia. Orange is commonest colour but you can now get yellow ones too.
Excelente trabalho DEUS lhe proteja abençoe grandemente
Hey George. Another incredible transformation! I have nearly stopped watching other lawncare videos, they just leave me frustrated. I compare them to yours and they are always lacking. In fact, I recently hired someone to prune my trees and shrubs , getting ready for winter, and before he touched anything I asked myself, "What would George do". I must admit the completed job looks pretty damn good. Keep them coming George!
Very good transformation. I would ve left the little round table and few chairs on the deck...
Wow, George, I know that these videos don't tell how many hours you spend cleaning them up. This would take days for me to do. Your work is incredible 👏! I'm always truly amazed by the transformation afterward. It's why I love ❤️ watching. I'm sure this person is extremely grateful 🙏. Definitely above and beyond almost all the other lawn care people I watch. See you on the next video 🤪.
If read the description George has always put that information in there. If you hit the title of the video the description magically appears.
The orange flowering plants are Clivea. Very expensive here in NZ. I have managed to cultivate hundrreds of them and plant out many different parts of my garden with them. They are beautiful.
I’m a landscaper and I have such a passion for this stuff making properties look good gives me such a joy
What a beautiful home, beautiful yard, beautiful job! Wow ... fantastic!!!❤️😍❤
Clivia....perfection as usual. One more episode over the weekend will be so awesome! Pretty please.
Always look forward to your new videos knowing that I won't be disappointed. Thanks again George, great job🤗
You, my dear sir, are not the ordinary landscaper. Your attention to detail is phenomenal. Fixing small items as you go is great. This yard turned out so beautiful. 😊
“This corner is a mess”…..I’ll just take out the entire tree! Love your work!!
Thank you George and showing great character by fixing the fence!
Wonderful job, as usual! The plant should be a Clivia miniata or Natal lily / bush lily. Greetings from northern Italy!
As I have said before in many of my comments, your attention to detail is incredible, the way that you took the time to retighten the clothesline and repaired the fence shows your professionalism and your commitment to doing whatever it takes to make the property look incredible.
That man must have loved his garden there were a really big amount of plants it would have taken sometime to put them all in and look after them but looks much nicer after you have cleared it all out
Hi George. Love ya videos Bless you 💕
Turned out beautiful George!
I always watch with amazement. You always clean each yard as if it were your own. You do such a complete and satisfying job. I appreciate how you clean up and leave no stone unturned. Keep posting, and I will keep watching. Cintinued blessings to you.
Your videos are wonderful. I love how amazing the transformations look! (Though I admit taking out that overgrown rosemary broke my heart a little.) I particularly enjoy the pop ups of information & plant identification. I wondered if you might consider a little subtle tone when there’s a pop up so we don’t miss it while typing or doing a chore? I often watch while multitasking (you use good lofi music and not toooo much work noise lol) and sometimes I worry I missed something pop up. 😊 Keep doing these great videos. We’re loving them.
Well done George...legend 👏 the best one in U-tube...can't wait for the next one...
I knew you're gonna fix that fence George! 👍🤣🤣🤣Thanks so much for your excellent work and for bringing the joy and happiness to your community! Cheers! 💙
Love watching your transformations. Thanks George for the videos
Beautiful as always George. The sister of the homeowner who passed away must be very happy with the results. Looks awesome!
Woow Fantastic 😮
Nice ❤❤❤
37:45 thank you George!! So many times i see videos of other folks sometimes knocking boards or shutters loose pulling vines down but never putting anything back up.
Your attention to details and organized process keeps me watching your videos.
❤️🔥😎👍
You are a miracle worker! It is ready for a new owner. Well done.
G'day, George! Greetings from Seattle. It's 2:21 am. I just got notified of your video. Woke up with a headache 😫 so I made my coffee ☕️ now I'm good to go! Wonderful job you're doing 👏 this lady must have been over the moon that you came along and cleaned up her yard, hope the home sales soon. My condolences to her for the loss of her brother. Stay safe, and God bless George ! 😎
I have been looking forward to part two and you didn't disappoint. Job well done George
Blimey that grew! Seriously could not see the actual size of the yard for all the stuff in it. Hope you’re hooked up with some estate agents….show them this and they will have all their clients clambering for your services. Great job George, stay are x
Hi George your work and work ethic are second to none. What you have achieved here is remarkable. Your customer must be over the moon. Love watching these vids on a Saturday morning. Thankyou for posting Deb from the U.K
You are one of the few guys that nail loose boards back on a fence..I love the orange flowers plant but it would be too cold here in Canada in the winter for it to survive ,I think.Great job again .
As always, a great job has been done!
The house will, of course, be sold soon without any problems. However, it is best for new owners to simply replace the fence. He's completely rotten.
You are the best at what you do. I watch all of your videos and nobody does it better than you do.
Another great cleanup and transformation George. Thanks for sharing
Incredible transformation, George! It’s astounding how much work you achieve alone. 😊
You’ve turned it into a lovely garden again George. Your videos are just fantastic we can see everything that you achieved. The next person to buy the house has a great outside space. ❤❤Wiltshire 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hello George, that’s a transformation! Excellent work as always. Your work is very pleasing to the eye. Whom ever sees it will also feel your caring energy. I know I do. Always a pleasure Sir. Joyce ❤️🙏🇺🇸
What a job! Nicely done 😊
Nice work sir!
The garden was already very neglected. There was a lot of work and you managed to reconstruct it perfectly! Just walking to the car and back was a lot of miles :-) You are perfect at your job and I like that.💯👍👍🌿
That was a lot of work for one person outstanding job 👍❤
I would say it’s ready for it’s debut. Someone will surely snatch this lovely home right up. The yard clean just finished it off so nicely. You are absolutely the best, George. It is always a pleasure to watch your videos. Excellent! ❤️
George, you did it again. I watched every minute.🙂 You left nothing undone. You do such good work❣️This lady lucked out with you. 💚
Quick Cuts is my favorite.
Hi George!! Another great job!!! I love that house and yard!! That plant on the side of the yard is called a Kaffir Lily! I have had them in my yard before. They also come in yellow. Love your work! See you around!
Great work as always George! Beautiful!!
What a beautiful transformation. You did a tremendous amount of work.
Saturday, between 9 and 10 a.m., a cup of coffee and a video from George. It doesn't matter that it's cold and raining heavily. Many greetings from Germany!
🙂🙋♂️
Same 🎉 UK
I can understand wanting to save the Elder, but those two camellias deserve to have the showpiece spot in their respective corners. Gorgeous! This absolutely qualifies as rescuing a yard, George. You’ve done another exceptional job of getting the yard and gardens tamed, pruned, shaped and trimmed to as close to perfection as they could be. Just like the front, with continued care, this back yard is going to regain its former glory and be lovely and inviting again. Bravo👏👏
I love it when you can just get rid of everything and cut everything back!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hi George, love you here from KY..💖 l love watching you work, you are so smooth, organized and maticuiously clean..🌱..love seeing those neat lines. Absolutely stunning lawns when you're finished. 💯 Stay safe out there and take care. Ty so much for all you do for others.🧤 God bless you !! 🙏
