So I binge watched your videos on Friday Saturday. Sunday i decided to dress based on all you tips for petite hourglass body shape.
I HAD SO MANY COMPLIMENTS!! I went to the mall and strangers were telling me what good style I had. Someone even took a photo of my shoes because they thought they were so cool. (I have worn those shoes plenty on times but styled wrong no one noticed them!)

Everything Ms Li says makes so much sense. And there is absolutely NO hint of body shaming at all. I love how she shows an example of every point she makes and how she covers every body type in the petite realm. Also, she does not try to conceal that she is an apple shape, but shows her cute tummy when it helps her make a point.

Also, very important that you mentioned those sleeping-bag dresses that only fit super skinny models... and yet became so popular somehow! As a petite curvy woman I aim for garments that accentuate my waistline but sometimes the options are limited.

Also, I was actually pretty keen on getting a t shirt dress (like your last dress) from Uniqlo, some girls carry it so well with white sneakers, they look comfy and trendy. I’m sharing my bits with you- maybe it’s good input for you for another video . I’m 155 CMs with long legs and arms and a short boxy torso . My legs begin at my ribs ! For me the very short length never really worked as I looked “ waist less “ so for years now I’ve worn midis and worked all over the world with nude heels ; it always got me compliments. My idea of saying this is - look at the rules but really customise your look . So I’m a midi petite and now that I’m 49 I can understand that the midi always added length to my torso . It’s the 2/3 rd rule

Your videos are good. I have a wedding to go to and I realized I didn’t have a lot of appropriate dresses to wear. One dress I tried on had the Little House on the Prairie feel. Needless to say I had to keep searching. I ordered a dress on Amazon. Hopefully this one will work. I am short and short waisted.

I knew there must be someone out there who also doesn't like the never-ending "oversized everything" trend. I'm a petite hourglass, and finding flattering clothes has been difficult for the last 10 years 🤕.
