I love Starrily. Their polishes are perfect and I appreciate that they keep their polishes around for a while and do restocks instead of the constant churn of limited edition new releases with FOMO marketing. They're expensive but worth the price!
They are such a good deal for Americans (just $35 to get free shipping in the US?). And honestly, I like the idea of a company not constantly pumping out tons of new limited releases and being super active on socials. It's a lot to keep up with and the FOMO is real.
Thank you for this! I love deeper dives into brands. I have been hesitating on Starrily simply due to the price point, but I will be venturing out a bit now after watching this.
Thank you so much for this! I completely agree that their slower releases and carefully curated PERMANENT collection is so freaking awesome. Yes the other brands have extensive permanent collections, but you never know when they’ll retire something in favor of the newest thing coming out. Expen$ive for us consumers! Again, thank you for another fun and informative video! ❤
I am watching you on my phone instead of my TV for the first time so I just want to take the opportunity to say that I love your videos!! They're so thorough, helpful, and chill.
Starrily is great. And they tend to run really good sales for Black Friday - that’s where most of mine came from. Definitely worth waiting if you want to save some $$. Another great video!
I absolutely love your deep dives! I am somewhat obsessed with Starrily. When I first started wearing indie polsihes 2 years ago they were one of my first purchases. Yes they are $$$ but i feel like my 7 little bottles are going to last me a good long time. I am so happy you were able to find their history as I've not been able to. When I buy an indie I do like to know who is behind it and now I do! Wow Coney Island? Who knew?! I live about 30 min drive from there. What a surprise. Thanks again!
I tried Starrily for the first time this year so I've only tried 5 of their shades. BUT, "Damsel" is probably my favorite polish I own. It looks so beautiful in the bottle and on the nails. "Au" is also a favorite of mine and the only gold polish I need in my life its such a stunner.
ok i just had to pause the video when you used the term "viscosity" for the black nail polish -- I've just recently learned about that term in studying lava flows and have never heard it used to describe nail polish. I love that I heard it here lol. I've gone gone back and forth in purchasing from Starrily... if they have a black Friday sale I may try to pick some up! Thanks for the review!
i love starrily! LOVE!!! and pay the steep shipping for canada. fell in love with the simple Eclipse and use it as a top coat. and now an order is a treat to myself. :) LOVE the packaging, it is just so whimsical and fantasy. im not usually a packaging sucker. but for them i am lol xo
@@ruby_on_nails it just feels like such a luxury when you get it, and the wear time is incredible, totally noticeable difference using eclipse as a topcoat over other brands. looking forward to trying one of their cremes in my next order. xo
Take your pick on colors, but you NEED some planets. The Starrily magnetics are knockouts; I have yet to see any others that are so vibrant. Also, Callisto from the KM Galaxy Crate is so fabulous, definitely one of my favorite toppers ever.
Love Starrily! I waited for the Planets Collection box for a yearish(?) and was so excited to grab it this last time around! Kelli Marissa has a discount code for them, which helps take some of the bite off of that price point. I think E=mc^2 is my most worn polish from them.
i had no idea kelli had a discount code for starrily - what is it?!!! please and thanks. would definately take the bite out of shipping to canada. tia. xo
@@Kiki-mu6ri it’s “kelli”! I went hunting for a code for the Planets restock. It’s a 10% off code, and I believe it’s active for the foreseeable future. 🙂
@@glitterallynat thank you so much !!- im so silly i forget its listed with her videos - i will now not forget!! .... i have a cart open waiting for my bday for an excuse to spend, so knowing this will come in handy!! xo
@@Kiki-mu6ri you’re welcome! I had to go hunting for it (hoping it existed), so I’m definitely not judging. Happy early birthday, and enjoy your pretties when you get them!
How are they for speed of drying and chip resistance? I find I keep going back to Holo Taco because the dry time suits my lack of patience--i compared dry time for a bunch of brands quick dry top coats and nothing came close but I haven't bought starrily yet.
I like Starrily as well. However, for some reason, their thick, fluffy brush makes application for me so difficult. I wish their brush was flatter and had a rounded tip. Diamond Rain (Kelli Marissa color) is fantastic. It’s captivating
I only really heard from them through Kelli Marissa’s Planet collection and I very much would like to purchase them. But their shipping cost to Europe (even before taxes) is very steep, so I’ll probably only pick up a few if they ever appear with a stockist on this side of the pond…
I’ve always wondered why some brands have SUCH BIG bottles! I rarely get all the way through a bottle, regardless of size. Like, Starrily and KB Shimmer’s polishes are great but I doubt I’ll ever get all the way through them 🤪 Picture Polish have the right idea IMO
I've got around 2 dozen Starrily polishes, they have good formulas. I'm bummed their planets collection is always out of stock. But I'm more bummed that Cat Mom is still a shade. They should retire it out of respect for Cristine. I haven't bought from them in a couple years.
I guess I find Cat Mom and Menchie to be different enough from the swatches I’ve done. Though I will admit the promo images they use look very similar but in person Cat Mom is a hotter pink. It’s a bit odd overall though.

Somehow I got the boyfriend subscribed to Starrily and now I receive random polishes from him! It's awesome :D
Fun for the whole family!

I had never heard of Starrily, and I really appreciated this video. The info and swatches. It’s definitely on my list of next brand to try.

the foils are to die for, pegasus, bellatrix, au, sunlight. I also love cat mom, the grinch, and black diamond.

I would say them dry pretty quickly but there is some variation depending on the formula you pick. However, they all dry pretty fast.

You might check their distributors list on their website
I use Rainbow connection to get starrily in the uk. Although for the Planets re-stock I did just bite the bullet for the tax etc.

Also, one of my favorite polishes of all time is from Starrily: Diamond Rain. Holy shit. Vasopressin (same formula) is also glorious.
