    Sir I have a doubt sir you have burn in a flame but when magnesium reacts with air then, it produces a magnesium oxide but how could it produce when it react with flame that is magnesium oxide sir...

      Flame is just heat energy. It allows the reaction to happen and formation of MgO

      Solid Magnesium oxide is produced

    I used to steal rolls of ribbon from my boarding school chemistry lab and meta-fuel tablets, burn the ribbon for fun, as well as use a hot fork or spoon, and bunsen burner to heat it, to press on the meta fuel and 'make snow'

      Not required. You can just scratch the surface by knife but be careful it is very soft and breaks easily
