- #Watch : A graphic video where a woman is being beaten and shot to death is viral online. Claims on social media suggest that the woman is a Christian Kuki being assaulted by armed civilians in Manipur.
However, BOOM found that the video dates back to June 2022 and is from Myanmar. It shows a woman being thrashed by members of the People's Defence Force (PDF) on suspicion of espionage, and is unrelated the conflict in Manipur.

Burmese militants executed her for allegedly acting as an informant for the junta. It's funny, I've also seen this exact post saying the opposite (Meitei girl killed by Kukis). Except this was posted by an outsider while the reverse story came from a Meitei source.
