Even during real life historical battles ,the death of the leader usually meant the destruction of morale of the whole army...So if your troops perform worse after your death, just make it up in your mind that it's gotta do with morale 😂.
Personally, I'd forgo all the bounty hunters/wardens/caravan master etc and have them replaced by faction-based units when I rescue a lot of prisoners. But that is tons of micromanagement so, if you need to cut out the sorting bits from the video, I don't mind. Of course this is just personal preference. Cant wait for the next video! Hail Tea & Biscuits!!
Best thing to do especially in the beginning of anyone's playthrough. Is to hire as many followers as possible and level up their Leadership skills. So that when you capture your first settlement, you can give your followers all the castle's, Villages, and if some towns. And after giving them nobility, they instantly gain a Army of around 100 to 300 depending on leadership skills. Then so, in the beginning of trying to conquer, you'll have a fast growing military to help you with the war. This wasn't for helping you but advice to anyone who struggles with playing.
To add to this: I'd recommend only specific companions for the strategy, Ansen, Alistair and Roland are great choices but there are others who are nobles/have upstanding or good-natured personalities.
@@ReformistTMI must agree, also making a Army consistent of mostly Archers is deadly. I usually have a small force of Infantry to absorb any shielded units while my archers demolish their troops.
if you pay 10 denars for rummor, be carefull sometimes there is a cool rummor that just talks about Red bratherhood company capturing Noldor soldiers, which spawns one company on the map close to your castle with 2 Noldor hunters inprisoned and you can rescue them into your party
that seer favorite position is where I stand in all the sieges with 3 stacks of arrows and then pick up a weapon or stack of arrows from the ground/wall. that is the best way to lvl up ur archery skill
Seer favorites use the bows(dark wood bow) which have 33 damage 94 accuracy and 89 speed and their arrows (dark wood arrows) add 8 damage. I think this is why they are so lethal.
Only the border provinces/castles need a siege tower. For example Rela castle and calduin castle. Also if your vassals runs away they go to the closest castle and leaves your campaign. Another another thing. When I had sarleon siege laria they came with 3000 men once, a day after I just defeated 2000 of them
Noble recruits are gathered every week due to the presence of shrines and how your army is doing/renown. You can then speak to the CKO guy in your castle/town and pay for those recruits then level them up and upgrade them into the custom units.
the best way is to talk to ur CKO knight in the castle/town, and ask for a more challenging task. You will need to gain renown with the cko troops. do that and u can recruit all remaining troops at the end of the quest. Tip: go to POP options in camp, and reduce the no of battle reinforcement waves to zero, also reduce the no of troops taking part in battle from main game options (escape button and then setting, reduce no of troops on a battle field). This way u can gain almost all the renown (250 i think) from a single battle
Not sure if you did it already, but after you take any town, there is a lot in the chest inside the castle. Usually pretty good stuff.

Hahaha true! :)
especialy since leadership was highly centralized back then. individual initiative only really became a desirable trait for soldiers in the 1800s

11:45 A renown value of 125!?! That's how you know it's a big battle haha :)

Well all models have the shield on the left so that Seer shooting from the right hand side was always going to rack up the kills :)
Ctrl click and you can do all your units available to level to the same upgrade
Question how can you recruit your own CKO units??
