this scene is a prove, before season8, to wt extents Lana would go to protect Clark and love him and accept him to NO END!

Have to disagree Lois was the one who waited for Clark to reveal his secret to her after she figured it out. Lana was always digging for the truth or scared off by his secrets. Lois accepted Clark and his destiny as the world's greatest superhero fully once he finally trusted her.

There is a scene where Clark got shot after having lost his powers. Lana said to his sleeping body that she pulled away because she knew Clark would end up here someday and she was afraid. Even before Lana knew about his Powers she proved she simply didn't have the temperament for the life he leads. Lois on the other hand has always shown she can handle the danger he puts himself in. It may scare her, the thought of losing him, but it's never caused her to pull away.

@@christopherholley8164 theres a massive distinction here, Lana grew up with him, they were friends since childhood + everyone she's ever cared about has either deceived her, or hurt and left her, and she didnt want that to be the case with Clark as they've always been there for one another and he's the one person she couldn't stand leaving her. Any sane person would act the same way if given the same circumstances. Lois had nothing to do with Smallville, it was there way of cramming someone into the origin due to what eventually becomes of Superman. As a comic reader and a fan of Lois, she just isnt as good as Lana in this series lol

Totally getting Romeo and Juliet vibes here lol 😂 Loved it when Clark whispered her name. Man that man is stunning! Love how when he touched her face his hand is literally bigger than her face. Clark is so gentle and damn he’s handsome! How did Kristin deal with his handsomeness? I mean look at him! Tall, dark hair, blue/green eyes, melon shoulders. Damn!

I’ve said it before. Communication and patience was the problem with Lana and Clark. Lana knew enough about Clark to understand he is keeping a secret and knowing no one else knew at least in season one. Should have tipped her off. Clark could have assured her more often that at least for now he must keep the secret.
By the time they both understood this, Lex had poisoned Lana with kryptonite.
Two things I would personally have done.
1). I would have told Lana everything about me no later than season 2 episode 1.
2). I would not walk away from Lana after Lex poisoned 🤢 her. Later on you learn blue kryptonite would nullify the effect. Or s11 comic version when metallo absorbs it. Then, that’s just me.

With this scene now Lana definitely see all kinds of things about Clark and lex that Clark is a hero and lex is the bad guy because she was so mean to Clark at the end of season 5 and beginning and little of middle of season 6 treating Clark like he is the bad guy because now here she see that lex Luther is the bad guy now and Clark is the hero now what Lana

In "Promise" when she heard that Clark left her not because he didn't love her but wanted to protect her, she immediately decided to break up with the "father" of her "child". Notice, it was that time when Lex still was a good guy in her eyes. That means her love for Clark was true, and her love for Lex was out of gratitude. That was exactly what she meant by "I love both of you" in "Hydro".
Also it was Clark who broke up with Lana, not vice versa. We all know he did that not because he didn’t love her but wanted to protect her. However Lana doesn’t know about it! She was heartbroken. Then Lex showed himself as a loving, understanding friend. That’s why she started dating with him. Only to *forget Clark.*
Regarding Clark's warnings avout Lex's true nature. He didn’t have any proof about Lex’s crimes. He could only suspect, not know for sure. Also how Lana could understand his actions if at first he warns her about Lex, then wishes her to be happy with him? Moreover, even Chloe went on dealing with The Luthors no matter what. And if you look at Martha and Lionel, you could think that they’re a family couple. And Lana never treated Clark as a bad guy. She just was heartbroken and angry with him after his words "I don't love you" in "Hypnotic".
In later episodes Tess also didn’t believe that Lex was an evil person despite everyone were warning her. That was because Lex had saved her. However in “Bulletproof” when Lana *showed her PROOF* that Lex was using her for his own purposes, Tess finally believed it. So why Clark didn’t do the same? Why he didn’t show her PROOF? It was not a problem with his abilities. So his warnings were similar to jealousy and quickly conclusions. Notice, after learning about Lex’s true nature, Lana never blamed anyone because no one gave her proof.

@@Flower-x6c In that same episode hypnotic he had rejected to go sleep with her at her dorm and caught him with another girl so everything stack up to make Lana think Clark really didn't love her anymore. But she mostly went with Lex to get revenge on Clark for all the multiple heatbreaks, confusion and rejections he did to her in almost all of season 3. Lana never liked Lex at that level but she needed Clark to feel betrayed and hurt by going with the person he told her was his enemy.

    • @Flower-x6c

@@knandez7__821 nope. Her relationship with Lex was escapism from her pain after Clark's leaving. At first drugs were her anesthesia, then Lex. Lana didn’t know why Clark and Lex stopped being friends but it was their business. Also at themed of ‘Thirst’ Clark changed his attitude to Lex from negative to neutral, that is, they were not friends but also not enemies (they became enemies only when Lexana’s started dating).
