I'm gonna be honest, for me the music level was EASY. The TRUE FINAL LEVEL is the bane of my existence, I had 78 lives left after that. ( Edit:) I had 99 lives going in, 78 after about 30-45 minutes
This level seems to be the easiest thing ever or takes people 30 minutes-an hour to do and it seems there’s no inbetween.
I agree, four stars is an overstatement, but the musics good

you have to use the Spring Feet Badge was easily the most time-consuming part of clearing the game 100%
@We_BDT for me it was the last section with the invisibility badge

I love the sound Sophist uses to censor swear words on his channel, because it makes it sound like he or anyone else is smacking a desk in anger or something.
Unless I'm mistaken, and I do not think I am, that's the critical hit sound from the game Omori.

I love it because its from Omori, and that's one of my favorite games.
For search parties I think you're supposed to play online since you can place standees on top of the hidden blocks to indicate where the blocks are. Also, all of the hidden blocks have a symbol on them, which means that if you play that certain character, you get to see that block when you're nearby the block. This is also scattered throughout the levels of wonder
I tried one the first time, ignored them until I beat Bowser, then returned with the Sensor flower, which makes it 10,000 times easier.
I really love the banter you have with your friend. He seriously matches your chaotic energy and it’s really cool you included him in this series. Great video as always and Gumdrop’s editing is great!
Suddenly I feel really good about my Mario skills after watching you struggle so much with that rhythm jumping level. A died a few times on it.... but I had it beat in maybe a minute or two.

I see you two had an absolute blast with that music platform level. Surely nothing could go wrong if you tried the secret world level right after it. Was a lot of fun to watch this.

Tbh I only bought the wonder seeds and badges. The 1-ups were covered through the badge that makes enemies drop 3+ coins when defeated. While I still haven’t gotten up to 99 lives (yet), I still haven’t gotten a game over and I’ve finished every level except the very last one, so that counts for something.

i just finished this game and i must say, nintendo really stepped up their game on this one. there is so much love and creativity in this game, and i am exited to see the lord of all gamers play through it.
Oh god I know the level by just the thumbnail. Took me like an hour to complete. Had to use the badge that gave extra platforms and removed the floaty jump badge.
As long if you’ve played any Mario 2d platformer, and aren’t a child, than this level is easy, though, the floaty jump does overshoot sometimes, so good idea for switching 👍
Just wait until you get to the special world version of jump jump jump...
I loved the moment where mario said its wonderin time and wondered all over the place

That aside, as a real SUCKER for those awesome Music/Rhythm levels, it´s nice to see how others do that.^^ I don´t know how much of a fan you are when it comes to rhythem stuff in general though o.o

When I saw the One Piece Sophist talking about being player 1 and talking about how they lost their player 1 privilege I knew this was gonna be a WONDERful episode
You must 100% the game im not gonna spoil what the final reward is but it is very comedical and is the greateast reward for fully completeing a game by far

I know you can max out 999 purple coins but seeing it all go to waste on standees is still pain.
Edit: so I realize you need all standees to 100% the game so I guess what they did takes the pain away
I for one wish there was more music block levels. There’s only 2 right? Man, I loved them.
I honestly passed through Jump Jump Jump on my first go around. It’s all about observing your surroundings as you progress.
That, or just repeatedly bubble jump and skip the entire challenge

Honestly, this game has the polar opposite design philosophy to 3D Land/World; Wonder is a 2D game that feels like a 3D game, while vice versa was true with 3D Land/World.
Normally I’d say the only bad thing about Super Mario Wonder is that it ends, but using the badge system to combine with certain abilities or characters (i.e. Jet Run w/ Elephant Mario, the Flutter Jump w/ Yoshi) can bring new life into the same old levels. The expert badges would be awesome for challenge runs… if you could have accessed them from the start. It’s understandable why they aren’t, but imagine an entire playthrough with invisible Mario lmao.
Super Mario Wonder makes it clear that Mario, even after almost 40 years since his inception, still dominates the platformer genre, and why Nintendo is still revered in spite of their other flaws.
I hope liking this game makes up for me also liking Pokemon Scarlet/Violet despite it having Bethesda syndrome.

I would agree that Jump! Jump! Jump! and the Fluff-Puff Peaks Special are the worst levels in Super Mario Bros Wonder. That level would cause many people to throw their Joy-Cons or Controllers across the room because of how hard trying to time it is.

I beat the level twice over watching you guys struggle. I have problems
i know people are gonna hate me for being “that guy”, but i have to say it. they did absolutely PHENOMENALLY with this game.
that said, if they can put this much love, imagination and creativity in this game, they can do the same thing with animal crossing. new ideas with the same charm as all the previous games before new horizons. they have so much potential. atp, have the mario team inspire the ac team. because this game is just so incredibly amazing, i KNOW they have it in them to make the new new leaf of the 2020 era/“generation”.
