[4K] Oil Spill Response Boeing 727 Circuit Training at Prestwick Airport

Here’s a video of one of Oil Spill Response’s two, specially modified Boeing 727s at Prestwick Airport. Their 727s are modified to deal with large scale oil spills, whether it’s in the ocean or on land. It visited for a few hours training, performing various Takeoffs, Landings & Touch and Gos. The touch & go’s were especially interesting, as the 727 performed wheelies down the runway. The wheelies are perfectly normal, as due to the centre of gravity on the 727, it has to do this, when carrying out a touch & go.

Do they still have a flight engineer? I reckon it needs one with the way the cockpit is set up. I recall back in the day the airlines hated having to pay 3 people in the cockpit.
