I was obsessed with Slade growing up with this show. He looks cool, sounds cool, and is part of some of the most intense episodes of the show. He's a good fighter and plays some F'ing sick mind games on Robin. Great villain! EDIT: Adding that, in hindsight, Slade's cool, calm, yet intimidating demeaner and way of speaking in this show 1000% inspired a ton of my own villains in my own original stories. There's just something about that type of villain that is more terrifying.
Slade in TT reminds me of batman if he was evil, he has that same cold calculating mind, and a million different plans, to win, the voice acting is superb too, he sounds really creepy and sinister
Since you were all wondering who the guy Robin tried interrogating was voiced by, it was more than likely Dee Bradley Baker, since he was already in this episode, and he tends to act as "Additional Roles" in most of the things he's in.
One of my favorite 2 part episodes in the First season and the first multi-episode arc, as the Titans (especially Robin) now meet their greatest adversary: Slade (aka Deathstroke). Rob Perlman sure brought a wonderful performance in Slade who sounds both calm, cold and threatening all in one.

But as a villain solely towards Teen Titans, he's pretty good. He's like a modern day Belos.
Batman wouldn't be mad at Robin, if anything he be more pissed at Slade. Deathstroke is an Assassin/Bounty Hunter, Batman knows fully well how he operates.
