As far as I know the maps are to scale and accurate they used the aerial reconnaissance pictures it's pretty cool to check out on google I wanted to see how accurate they are and they are literally copies of aerial photos they did good on this game 👏🏽👏🏽
The key to defending that first point for the germans is to get onto it quickly. I’ve only had one match where we successfully held them at that objective. We had one squad covering the North, 2 on the objective and I think 2 covering the southern flank. We just had to hold them long enough for our panther and tiger to position on the hill above. Then it was game over for USA. It was great teamwork that game.
It definitely doesn't make for a fun game though, I've been on the receiving end of a game like that. The damn tanks wouldn't even let us reach the beach, they'd just shoot our boats as soon as we'd spawn in.

They really need to add voices to the game. Like Battlefield 1, where you hear screams and yelling everywhere. As it stands, this game almost feels dead due to the lack of voices
I love the BAR in the game. I've heard people in game complain about it. One of the best guns in the game. Imagine having fully automatic .30-06 flying in your direction!
It's a bad automatic compared to 200rds of 30cal on a bipod covering a whole flank or field. It's just a beefier Garand. This game proves how un needed the Bar was.

I was on vacation in Normandy a few years ago and camped right on the hills of Omaha Beach. It's a strange feeling knowing how many died there. One day I went to the waterline in the morning to see how far it was to run up to. The beach is even way bigger when the tide is out than shown in HLL. I can't imagine how someone could have survived this. There were even fire trenches and flamethrowers on the flanks.
The men of WWII are true men! Plain and simple. I'ma war historian (nor professional, just been studying for 20yrs), and WWII was the most daunting, bloody and intense war any nation has faced on a huge scale. Talking to many of those vets, you can see it in their eyes it's still their only nightmare. Storming the beaches and Russians taking Stalingrad were by far the worst battles. Then Foy, I believe would come very close next. I, personally, can't have the level of respect for them they truly deserve!

Karma, when shooting moving targets at more than like 30-40 meters, aim with the left or right opening around the front sighting post. That will usually lead most shots accurately at like 30 to 80 meters with the BAR.
Absolutely my favorite map, especially on the Allies. Although I've only been playing for a week or two, but the adrenaline rush when storming the beach is unmatched. Loved this vid.

It’s great that consoles are finally getting realistic shooters, but consoles just aren’t good enough anymore, in my opinion.
Console will be a shit show, happens all the time with pc ports. I hope not, as the game coming to console gives other people who dont have a pc the chance to experience it. Im not even sure itll have much of a fanbase after console players realise how tough the game is. Hey, it could go well but i reckon this'll happen
@@evanp9146 Actually, the game is fantastic on console. Having played the Free trial on Series X, it works really well. Its a smooth 60 FPS which works perfectly. The game looks and sounds great as well, plus I came across a bunch of players with Mics looking to work together.

you can with practice, i have a semiauto version and it's heavy but you get used to it. it's not like an AR obviously but I think they're only around 15lb
