That's a lie, yes roblox is heavily cpu based but optimizations + overclocking boosted my fps and plenty of others fps as well, now of course some peoples fps wont be majorly higher than expected but it still does help you're fps a lot + makes your game way smoother. Gotta keep in mind, I've done a lot of optimization videos as well for roblox and they do work especially my clientappsettings.
first of all, you dont need to overclock your GPU to play da hood or any game in roblox since those barely use any of your GPU power unless you're on shaders with max graphics but that still won't use alot of GPU power. second, overclocking your GPU is not worth it at all because it's high risk and very little gain. here's why: if you're struggling to run a very light game like Roblox, your probably on a low end prebuilt desktop or a laptop. if you're on a laptop, especially gaming laptop, those are notorious for their garbage cooling and you're probably already experiencing heating issues. overclocking your GPU would make your temperature so high your GPU starts thermal throttling (i.e slowing down to prevent damage from overheating, resulting in worse performance.) if you're on a desktop and you're struggling to run Roblox on 100+ fps you probably have a low end prebuilt desktop which have a low end cooling system, overclocking your GPU would put the temperatures up so high, again, resulting into thermal throttling since your low end cooler cant cool down extremely high temperatures like that. all of the above would only happen if you have a dedicated GPU and not an integrated GPU since iirc this method doesn't work on iGPU, you would need to overclock your CPU for that but again you will encounter the same issues I mentioned above :p pin this please because I spent a decent amount of time (like 10 minutes) writing this *
i mean i did say doing manual tuning is risky and can damage your pc but some people who get decently fair or good fps still overclock to get as much as possible for some reason
How so, automatic tuning is safe for laptop. I dont think Msi afterburner has automatic tuning though, I could be wrong but idek if that would be safe for laptops

I also have a rtx 3070 I'll try and a 3.8ghz and 8 core cpu (and his has 3.6 ghz and cores) so I should get about the same fps as him
