Probably one of the best bands I have ever heard, yet has no clue how to make a music video. Don't worry guys, there's hope....this other small unknown band named Rush had the same problem. Gee I wonder how they ended up.......
Glad to see that such bands helped destroy preconception against keyboards in heavy sound! The old bias prevented great bands to know a cool feature to improve the creativity possibilities on extreme rock styles!
At first I thought this video was ridiculous and kind of embarrassing... And now I'm actually loving it and watching it again and again. It's just hilarious. :D Nils' absurd performance style is kind of mix of Ozzy and Weird Al. :) 0:09 - that hunchbacked headbanging is gold :)))
@Rosilein23 What exactly is bad? It looks fucking totally randomly awesome, what more an you expect from Pagan's Mind but random awesome riffs and kickass fillins.
...I know there's a change in the future Follow, now the world is in changes (I am on the line) Never vanish, we'll be here forever Searching for the mystical Anarchy...
@Matiashs I'm not saying it's heavier, I'm saying it's a lot more chordy. The riffs aren't as well thought out anymore. Instead, it's just a lot of chords usually.
looks like Jack Black (singer) and Kyle Gas (bass) found them selves a few more band members ;) but really... these guys are unbelievable! only complaint is, not like anyone else has said here, is that he is using a gibson Les Paul in this video... why not use your awesome Music Man? its a LOT more epic and not as 'overused' as the Gibson Les Paul. but other than that, it was 100%!
hahaha!!! the music video ruined the song, Rue's face expressions are priceless bad :) I love the song tho. Heck, i love the whole band!!! cheers from Norway! ;)
Tony Echeverría. Yes they are but I was referring to was the fact that they are a Queensryche influenced power metal band so yes I know they are progressive power metal, Nils sounds a lot like Geoff Tate in majority of their songs
Good luck finding "the mystical land." I am quite certain that as you travel "onward" toward it, at some point you will realize that the autobahn you are on is known as "the broad road that leads to destruction." ;)
mmm I really like Pagan's Mind, but does really make sense to do a video clip with just band guys and white background? Even nowadays some metal groups keep doing this with their clips. I am not expecting every band to do what Tool, for example, does. But I thought this kind of video was a thing from past times. It is a shame because this is just a way of expending money, instead of a way to add some richness to (often wonderful) Pagans Mind music.
Do you even have the slightest idea what is involved in making a video? Apparently not! There is more to a video than creative ideas. But you have proven that you have no clue.
@@rareacts9868 I do have an idea about it how it works to produce a good video with minimum financial support and so I can say: it is possible!! ;) This was the first video I saw from pagans mind and again a reminder that I should stop watching videos from metal bands I like haha
This is why I love power metal. Singers who can actually project their voice with amazing clarity while staying in tune.
Nice work guys!!
Such a great song and band!
It's criminal that this video doesn't have more views.
Pagan's Mind are freaking incredible! They've put out some of the best music in metal. Keep writing kick ass riffs and amazing vocal melodies.
One of the greatest bands period. So musical and melodic.PM reminds me of Van Halen playing Power Metal.
I think they did it on purpose. PM actually really kicks ass.

sky langford what about Rhapsody of Fire, they must be, imo at least the absolute masters of great music with horrible videos
Sick voice 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Sick keyboard solo 💯🔥🔥🔥

@angienorge
yes, heavenly ecstasy was great. I simply adore the vocals of this band, so unique.
At first I thought this video was ridiculous and kind of embarrassing... And now I'm actually loving it and watching it again and again. It's just hilarious. :D Nils' absurd performance style is kind of mix of Ozzy and Weird Al. :)

Fukin Kickin!
I like music videos like this where it's only the band playing no other stupid CGI backgrounds and stuff.
...I know there's a change in the future
Follow, now the world is in changes
(I am on the line)
Never vanish, we'll be here forever
Searching for the mystical Anarchy...
Unbelievable power Metal, they can be one of the best bands, if they make better videos and promotions.
Please re-upload this in HD and stereo sound.
This is Good Yo

@Matiashs I'm not saying it's heavier, I'm saying it's a lot more chordy. The riffs aren't as well thought out anymore. Instead, it's just a lot of chords usually.
If it aint got it here, it just aint got it. Wish they'd cut another record.

FUCK YEAH, PAGAN's MIND!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/
Pure Pagan Power
Not only those crazies have an amazing music, but also an amazing look! lol
OHhh yeahhh!!!
the best power prog guys \m/
I like your profile picture dood!!!!
What's those guys' trick to record a video clip with the same excitement as a live concert?
So hardcore, yet melody on top of melody. Love it.

Les Paul has way deeper body tones. I totally understand why he used it on this song.
I see you haven't seen Nightwish yet, good sirrah.
I wanna see a good "God's equation" clip...
@Axemaster5 Oh. And the keyboardist.
@Axemaster5 This is as heavy as their earlier stuff....
@angienorge
lol he definitely played it up a bit too much in this video though with the expressions
hahaha!!! the music video ruined the song, Rue's face expressions are priceless bad :) I love the song tho. Heck, i love the whole band!!! cheers from Norway! ;)
Queensryche influenced power metal
zonic26 You mean Progressive Power Metal. All Progressive Metal (even Power Metal ) bands are influenced by the mighty Queensryche(RIP).
Tony Echeverría. Yes they are but I was referring to was the fact that they are a Queensryche influenced power metal band so yes I know they are progressive power metal, Nils sounds a lot like Geoff Tate in majority of their songs
This doesnt sound the least bit Queensryche based. Everything hits twice as hard...vocals included...
Good luck finding "the mystical land." I am quite certain that as you travel "onward" toward it, at some point you will realize that the autobahn you are on is known as "the broad road that leads to destruction." ;)
that fking clip lol

hahaaha amazing song but the visuals are damn funny No hate
the facial expressions are awful...yes, but his vocal capabilities are incredible.
Meh, Nightwish is good, but Tuomas seems to not be able to write anything new these days. :P
Ok...these guys have no idea how to make a music clip...
We don't, indeed! At least not back then, hehe
Its good you admit it. I hope you re doing well. Cheears
