This was seriously the best teaching I have ever heard on why we need to pray in tongues!!!! God led me to this as I used to pray in tongues a lot but disappointments and discouragement has crept in and I’ve been so unwell for so many years and no energy, become so lukewarm…but these last few days everywhere I look I’m coming across teaching on tongues and know it’s Holy Spirit leading me to it and my hunger for the Spirit is growing again. I’m feeling more alive and even though I lost my job a few days ago and it was an obvious attack of the enemy and I had no warning so ko income coming in to pay this weeks rent etc I feel such peace!!!! You open the word up for me, I am so thankful and I know it's the Lord. Thank you Brother. Some months ago when you talked about speaking in tongues, I started for an hour a day and that has increased to two. The Lord has shown me truths about people that I have known for years that I couldn’t see. I have now entered my third month. That does not mean that everything has been smooth sailing. Kevin, thank you so much. My spirit was lifted up. I will listen to this many more times. I have been under such attacks from the enemy so I needed encouragement. You ALWAYS encourage me. One night, I had a dream that I met you personally. (I have been to you 2 of your meetings.) In my dream, I was hoping that the LORD would speak to me through you. This did not happen in my dream, but you just made eye contact and smiled at me, and it was if the Holy Spirit sent encouragement to me through the smile. That was enough and just what I needed. Kevin, thank you so much. My spirit was lifted up. I will listen to this many more times. I have been under such attacks from the enemy so I needed encouragement. You ALWAYS encourage me. One night, I had a dream that I met you personally. (I have been to you 2 of your meetings.) In my dream, I was hoping that the LORD would speak to me through you. This did not happen in my dream, but you just made eye contact and smiled at me, and it was if the Holy Spirit sent encouragement to me through the smile. That was enough and just what I needed. The dream was so real. Again, thank you for all the encouragement that you give all of us who are listening by the Spirit.

THE GIFT OF TONGUES

Also to have the gift of tongues is to know how to speak more than one language so you can speak to other people in their language. And if you do not know more than one language, pray to have someone with you that can interpret so the people can understand what you are saying. Otherwise only God knows what you are saying. The people who do not understand the language you are speaking in will not be taught.
