Yesterday I was reading the Jesus Calling devotional and the entry was "Rest in my Presence." And it said "Many people turn away from Me when they are exhausted. They associate Me with duty and diligence, so they try to hide from my presence when they need a break from work. How this saddens Me!"
I had spoken to my Mom about something along these lines earlier in the week too. Not holding the line in the spirit is not rest. When I read this I asked him to forgive me for believing this lie. And then today I watch this LOL God is so good.
Hi sister, I'm glad you found a bit of truth in Jesus calling but I have learned to research the author of even books that sound Christian. There is some evidence that this author is into new age occultism. Just wanted to give you a heads up because someone else also was kind enough to warn me about it

Amen! I have dealt with the rejection spirit my whole life. Due to my biological fathers treatment of me. And several bad relationships. Been abused badly. It has impacted my life. I started accepting abuse as normal just to be loved. I was wrong. I am loved by God.

Brother you have spoken volumes. God was bringing me to this word all morning long. I woke up feeling condemned because I felt like you know I'm not doing enough to cultivate my relationship with the Lord and I felt almost like I heard the Lord say I don't know you. And I'm thinking I can't have that I want to spend eternity with Christ Jesus as his bride. And I sat and I read the word and through the process the condemnation lifted off of me because God had already said he wasn't condemning me but of course there's things I have to do to cultivate the relationship and so I log on and I see that you just recorded this message 20 minutes ago and it is hitting every single thing that I need. I was asking the Lord help me to love him help me to receive his love so I can love other people I can't do it I don't know how and so I'm eternally grateful to God Almighty for letting the words come through your lips that are spirit and life. Thank you Brother Kevin, this word was so on time. I have been feeling rejection , but it's so good to be reminded that our Lord God knows who we are, and cares. He has not forgotten about us. The enemy is the one who wants us to believe this lie
One time I was thinking that nobody likes me. The Holy Spirit chimes in brightly "I like you!" It was great! Whenever I'm tempted to feel rejected, I remember what he said.

I believe this. I am being lead to understand that the LORD has?a life written out for us already. All men come from GOD an we have to go back to GOD. I pray that we do not go back to HIM empty, but full of all that HE has written for us to do an please HIM everyday of our lives here on earth. I pray this for my children an grands an great grands an my god child an my realtor friends an my family an their families an our church bodies an all that HE has sent up in the EARTH. I just had a revelation of how JESUS spoke and I was formed in my Mother's womb - exactly the way JESUS was in Mary's womb! My past, present and future were already decided by HIM! All I have to do is, yield to the FATHER'S Holy Will in all situations and circumstances, applying the Word of GOD and waiting, relying, depending on HIM completely, surrendering my will, willingly!
