Thank you so much. Your channel is unique and very special in this saturated space of beauty and skin care content 🌹🌹
Thank you!!💛💛💛
I have tried every foundation under the sun, and LaPraire is a he best for me! The color, texture, wear, everything is phenomenal! I’m am very fair with warm undertone so it’s always been a struggle for me to find the perfect color for me. I use Tender Ivory 10 and then use the Tender Ivory 10 foundation/powder compact over it, it’s just perfect!
4:09 thank you for your content. I actually ordered the Cle de Peau Radiant Fluid Natural foundation after watching another video of yours. And I have to say, it has been the best foundation I have discovered so far, in terms of natural finish, undertones, and overall experience. I can only imagine the benefits these upper tier foundations covered here can deliver. 😊
Thank you!! Yes, for a regular foundation (without the anti-aging ingredients), the Cle De Peau Natural is definitely still the best.
HI. I love Cle de Peau foundation and have a few different versions of their foundations. Weather is changing here so I will start using the La Prairie. I hope LaPrairie does come back with a compact foundation. Compacts are so convenient for travel. Looking forward to your next video. 😃
I’d be very disappointed if the La Prarie cushion is discontinued. I hope it comes back.
Thank you!!!💛💛💛
Hi Desi, I have the velmont matte, I know the expiration on this is like 3 months, but my question to you is , is ok to use after expiration date?
Hi! I’ve repurchased quite a few times and always use for 6-7 months. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it after month 3. It’s just as effective.
Desi, have you ever tried Ivory in Shanghai? I too use La Prarie in shade Pure Ivory. I tried Valmont Sandy Beige in Paris but I think it’s a bit dark. Have you ever tried mixing shades of the Valmont foundation? (yes… I know.. expensive!!)
Hi! Yes, I switch to Ivory occasionally when I have no tan. I sometimes just use a bit more bronzer and works fine. Or I mix it a bit with a Sisley tan gel matte primer.💛🌷
Hi Desi,
Have you ever thought of developing your own line of products?
How did you know? I am looking into it, yes. 💛🌹
Hi Desi, great, to the point video, as usual🙌🙌🙌 I cant thank you enough for your honest reviews and expertise 🙏🙏🙏 Curology making my skin flawless. I am about a week into my 2 month supply and my skin is glowing. Actually adjusted very well to the strength, i am able to use every night and even after MBR enzyme wash and P50v its not burning anymore, actually considering to increase strength, maybe even earlier also purchased Calesim multi action cream with samples and additionally purchased the pink serum. I do like that one. Multi action cream is nice to the skin, but i still missed BR og placenta 😂 and og colostrum. I do have dry skin, so i do need some more hydration.i like night serum, and the hydrating cream, but not sure if i would purchase in full size🤔 i do want to try Auteur line, particularly i am interested in masque and hyaluron activator. From these 5 foundations, i had 2 . I absolutely love Valmont for dry skin one. I actually have in 2 colors. La Prairie i have with concealer one, but i did not like it. I used a few times, and in my very humid SF climate, after 6-8 hours, started breaking, but not like fading, but like masque. So i never used it again. I am very intrigued by Cle de peau one. I love light skin look. And i definitely going to get the other Valmont. I think it would be great to mix both Valmonts, for my dry skin. Lifting and firming m smooth, i definitely need it😜 and yes the glow Valmont one, it can be sometimes too glowy, so to mix those two i think it would be perfect 🙌 Have a blessed day🙏🧡
💛💛💛
If the La Prarie foundation is too hydrating, you will absolutely love the Valmont Teint Precioux (matte). Definitely try it. 💛💛💛
Another amazing video. What are your thoughts on Augustine Bader?
Thank you!
I’m including Bader in a future video review, so stay tuned for results and my opinion…
Hello beauty,, thank your for very useful videos .💝🙏🏻 I have a question.. do you use powder to fix after using valmont foundation? Or it doesn’t need to? And if you use, could you tell me which one is better to use with this foundation? 😻
Hi! I always use powder to set foundation. With the Valmont I use very little any thin loose powder. The Sisley Loose and Givenchy Prisme Libre go quite well.
Amazing video Desi.thank you so much. I know exactly now what to get. ❤️ enjoy your sunday. Valmont, here I come!
💛💛💛
Desi, I use the pure ivory shade of the caviar foundation as well...but, the valmont precieux in sandy beige is way too warm even muddy on me. Do you only use the valmont in the summer? The formula is my favorite, but the rosy beige is too pink, the sandy too warm and the ivory is light. I would guess ivory would be the most workable for me.
Hi!! Sandy Beige is actually too deep for me now as well but I lighten it with a concealer but the best is when I mix with La Prarie Pure Ivory. Mixing the 2 foundations is actually “the best” foundation overall. 💛
Hi Desi,
I ve been using La Prairie concealer for 15 years but in the last time I ve noticed that it doesn’t work very as before. It doesn’t last for 5 hours. A month ago I tried the Valmont foundation l’Elixir des Glaciers ( Teint Majestueux) but it seemed to be too much dick for my not very dry skin. Could you suggest me, something different? I would like to give up la Prairie. I live in the north of Italy with a cold und quiet dry clime in winter.
Sorry for my English but I need to brush up it
Hi!
I definitely prefer the Valmont Teint Precioux. The Majestiux is heavy, mask like and suitable for very very dry skin.
The absolute best foundation I’ve ever tried is Cle De Peau Radiant Fluid Natural SPF 25. It will not disappoint you.
As far as concealer goes, in addition to the 2 from Cle De Peau, recently I’ve been enjoying the Hourglass concealer. My shade is “Silk”. It’s fantastic.
@@desistark Thanks very much
Hi Desi,
Have you ever thought of developing your own line?
Wow. This was an amazing video. 👏 As always, thank you for your contribution 🙏. Now I know exactly what to get.
What's your next video going to be on? I just CANNOT wait.
Thank you!! 💛
I have a few videos I’m editing. “Best of”, “the worst”, hair…not sure which one will go first…😄
I LOVE your videos. And all of the make up and skin care products that I've bought based on your recommendations have been just, I'm speechless, it's changed my life. I thank you from the bottom of heart.
Oh mon Dieu! I didn;t realize that The Foundation didn't wear all day! you are so right! I just switched over from my Chanel because the Chanel is so sheer.
I will check out the Skin Cavier and Valmont and see if I can figure out the color match for me!
which foundation re you wearing on this video? thank you!
In this video, I’m wearing the La Prarie Skin Caviar Concealer Foundation (Shade N20).
@@desistark thank you!!
Looking great ❤love your dress 💖😍
I'm super fan of your videos!! Greetings from Mexico, beautiful😍🥰😘✨
Thank you so much!!! 💛💛💛💛💛💛
I would try some of these despite the costs if their range covered deeper skin tones 🤷🏽♀️
I know, it really sucks that the shade range is so limited. They definitely need to improve here.
Hi will you be doing a review on Clarins new luxury line Precious? 🙂
That’s a great idea! Thanks for the heads up. The research behind it looks intriguing.
Hi Desi. Since shiseido makes cle de peau is cle de peau actually better or is it just overpriced shiseido? Also would you do a video on hair products? Thank you!!!
Hi! Very valid question; I’ve tried a lot of Shiseido products and I actually like some of them but Cle De Peau is much elevated in quality and performance. I don’t see any similarities other than both have elegant scents. Also, Shiseido owns other brands like Nars, Drunk Elephant and Tory Burch. They are all essentially different companies, ran separately.
Hair products is in my list. 😄💛💛💛
@@desistark thanks so much!! Looking forward to more of your content
Apparently valmont have a foundation for very dry mature skin I need to look into it more in sure i would be beige in newyork
Yes, it’s the Teint Majesteux go.shopmy.us/p-2974189. It’s a bit mask like unless your skin is very very dry. It’s super hydrating and protective.
@desistark I'm 60 have naturally dry skin and can be dehydrated even though I use good skincare I think its part of ageing with dry skin to. If you can recommend another foundation that is good in high humidity that stays on. I live in Queensland Australia summer can be unbearable I up for any suggestions.
loved the video
Thank you!!! 💛💛💛💛💛
Hi which one do you think will work for me to look beautiful in my wedding??
Congratulations on your big event! I’m sure you’re beautiful no matter what. I’d get the Sisley one. You can set and buff with it.
@@desistark thank you ❤️ I'm 18 and I was thinking about buying the both
SKIN CAVIAR COMPLEXION
CONCEALER FOUNDATION SPF 15
And
Valmont Teint Précieux
Why did you say Sisley isn't the others better?
@@jabbariSinda Oh, I thought you are asking about the powder. If you are asking about a spectacular foundation, let me ask: is your skin dry or more oily?
@@desistark definitely not dry but also not to much oily but let's say oily
I don't care about how much it last or the cost i care a lot about the finish
@@jabbariSinda in this case, definitely the Valmont Teint Precioux. If you have a chance, get samples of shades at your local Saks Fifth or anywhere you can get. I’m usually Sandy Beige when I’m slightly tanned.
Would love to look the texture or you applying it so we can get a feeling of it. 🤍
Idea for a future video. Definitely!
