Thank you for another wonderful episode. At this point, I have gone beyond being amazed to mind blown at the constant growth of this channel in every episode, the quality of guests and the quality of conversations being had. You’ve found the equilibrium that works for you three and identified your core strengths. This, I believe leads to more confidence which in turn leads to better episodes because nothing is forced. I am leaving this comment here because I watched you trio try to make the transition to ESPN. Although I am resident in Nigeria, my first exposure to Sports Commentary was First Take with Stephen A and Max Kellerman. I have never cared so much for Stephen A but since I was new to sports shows, I didn’t know any better. I have since moved on to Undisputed, First Things First and of course, my favorite, the Herd. The only draw back is that I am not able to get the live shows on my Satellite Cable Networks so I am stuck with First Take while I wait for the Shows to Upload on RUclips. Now, to be frank, I have noticed a considerable drop in quality of programming from ESPN. The formats of their shows seem so outdated and although FS1 uses same format, perhaps it’s the quality of talking heads. I listen to Shannon because I know he’s a Hall of Famer who is also well versed in NBA and can relate other sports issues to anecdotes from his life. Skip is a seasoned sports journalist and that shows with his takes, and Colin has a way of explaining events that happen in sports and relating it to live lessons. I know that ESPN is interested in replicating what works for The Pivot on their show to give it a new lease. And having given it much thoughts, here are my thoughts: Let me start with the problem I have already noticed. ESPN wants to take Channing and Free Taylor and make them conform to the format of their shows. Channing and Fred are not stereotypical Sports Talk Hosts. So, that is dead on arrival. Instead of this, and if this is something ESPN can invest in, I suggest a new show format, titled ‘Pivot, Uncensored’ or ‘Uncensored Pivot’. In terms of show format, there’s this episode where you three discussed who was going to win the MVP race. There was no guest on that episode but it showed the magic that could happen when you three sit down for a conversation. So, I’m referencing that episode. I believe there’s a list of topic to be discussed before each shows and instead of the normal debate format, it can be a conversation around these topics and even when you have guests, it can still be conversations that you wish to have but relatable to the topics of conversation for the day. Hence, you’d be combining Podcasting and Sports Commentary. You trio will be allowed to be your normal selves, of course there are certain conversations that can’t be had on live tv, a la Channing, but Channing is much more about his sexcapades. There’s a way he relates events to his personal history that makes me connect more with the subject matter even if I have never played a single down in my life. Fred can be the normal Wise Man who provides needed guidance and pivots to the show and RC can be the anchor. Do I think this may work, I have no idea but if ESPN wants to take a gamble with you trio, then they should do it right. It’s the only way it works. Again, I reference the MVP conversation episode where you didn’t need a guest but gave me the best show possible. There’s a reason why I keep coming back to that episode and it can be a guide to whatever new ventures you may wish to undertake. Disclaimer: I don’t really want you guys moving to ESPN but loving something means being able to set it free. So, should you decide to take this plunge, I will be here cheering you on, now and always.

5 trios has gone over a 1000 yards (08 Cards, 04 Colts, 95 Falcons, 89 Skins and 80 Chargers). Only 1 with all 3 with 1000 yards and 10+ TD's. 2004 Indianapolis Colts Marvin Harrison 1,113 yards and 15 Brandon Stokley 1,077 yards and 10 Reggie Wayne 1,210 yards and 12 I can see Bengals being another team to do it.
Only two (40%) had a 1000 yard rusher (2004 Colts and 1995 Falcons), Mixon is not going for that. None (0%) have made it to the Super Bowl, the team is not going for that. This team has three number one WRs and will have to move one in order to address more needs and give Mixon his due. Great problems to have.

Loved the conversation. All my questions and thoughts were answered. I want you young men, to stay focus, and win a
I always tune in to hear what question/phrase Channing has to offer. 😂
He makes it very regular as opposed to the typical sports podcast.
I an a huge Bengals fan (40+ plus years) and u can watch Bengals 12 months a year. I loved this interview. I wish i had seen this during 2022 football season. I ran into this podcast by accident the day after Bengals loose the 2023 afc championship against the Chiefs.
Thank you Pivot team for showcasing 3 of the Bengals great players. Wish you all continued success, blessings, be healthy and be safe.
WHO DEY🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡🖤
5 trios has gone over a 1000 yards (08 Cards, 04 Colts, 95 Falcons, 89 Skins and 80 Chargers). Only 1 with all 3 with 1000 yards and 10+ TD's.
2004 Indianapolis Colts
Marvin Harrison 1,113 yards and 15
Brandon Stokley 1,077 yards and 10
Reggie Wayne 1,210 yards and 12
I can see Bengals being another team to do it.
How old were they
@@DrPhill96 mixon did run for over 1k last yeah and Boyd was like 50 yds short of it 1k lol Higgins and chase did have 1k we’re legit talking about matter of 50 yards to the 3rd string receiver lol
@@davidmerritt4091 - Boyd was 172 yards away. 🤣 So again, only two teams have had three 1k WRs with a 1k RB and a no team with three WRs have made it to the Super Bowl.
@@DrPhill96 Boyd missed whoke last game bc they made playoffs just like burrow did and chase and Higgins none them even played bro against the browns and our backups beat them bengals would’ve went off that game they didn’t start no one lol
These type episodes make me so excited for the season!!
The Redskins had the 1st WR trio to each get 1000 yards in a season. The Chargers were the 1st team overall with 3 thousand yard receivers 2 WR and a TE.
I think Arizona was the third
This trio of the pivot are dope, best thing they ever did was leave athlete and grow their own brand. These dudes are so good.
You guys are true professionals! 🙏🏻
This series of pods at camp is super sick. Awesome work guys
All the real ones know that the Pivot is the most authentic and realist podcast out rn! ✊🏾💯 Keep up the great work y’all boys! 🔥🔥
1000 yard trios has been done 5 times. But great interview. Love the confidence. Go Ravens!!
Yall keep surprising me with these, in a good way! During that Superbowl run I was thinking it was crazy how all 3 of these guys could achieve 1k revieving yards. Here you are interviewing the group!
Alright fellas love the show. Need some Viking love on here😂😂💪💪.Show is crazy. Much love
I hope you guys follow up with Coach Prime at JSU. Great show as always!
Massive Browns fan. So this was pretty cool to hear the boys from down the road talk about their success. Great SB run. Hopefully our boys can do that sometime this century lol
I can't wait to watch the Bengals play this year.
These young studs are gonna wreak havoc in the league for a few years. Hopefully they stay together
