Joe Burrow is literally "Dat Dude" in every conceivable way. He's just got that "something" that makes up for any slight deficiences in his physical tools relative to some other NFL QB's but he makes none of that matter. Confidence, anticipation/ball placement, smarts, never seems to get rattled unless you rip his leg off, etc. Just an unbelievable player at the position. And some fans want to call him a "fluke". This man is the real live savior of Cincinnati. He came in from LSU and kept his head down and worked his a$$ off. Following year we prove we’re down for Joey B by drafting his best friend JaMarr even though every “expert” said we HAVE to take Sewell. the sadness I felt for him losing in the super bowl but then the happiness I felt for Matty Staff was immense. This kid will win multiple Super Bowls without a doubt in my mind he is a true leader. I used to know Joe when he went to Ohio State. One night after bar hopping I was walking home and a car was obviously following me. I ignored the car and continued walking, following the person in front of me(i was following joe.) he noticed the car was following us too and he turned around and threw his hands up in the air like “wtf.” Then, people hopped out of the car to grab me. One guy tried ripping my backpack off me, which I had several expensive apple products. I flung to the ground landing on nothing but my knees. It felt like they shattered. But Joey ended up saving me. He reached in his back pocket and pulled out the biggest 9mm glock I’ve ever seen. And he shot all four people and continued walking.

Dedicated Ravens fan & rival here but wanted to say I admire the hell out of Burrow. He's an incredible QB & a respectful young man. Losing the SB to the Rams & the media was laser focused on Joe just sitting on the bench by himself & the only Bengal left on the field watching Rams players catch confetti. You could tell he was just sitting down, taking his first SB experience in after such a heart-breaking loss. My heart hurt for him & I just wanted to give him a hug. Joe Burrow is literally "Dat Dude" in every conceivable way. He's just got that "something" that makes up for any slight deficiences in his physical tools relative to some other NFL QB's but he makes none of that matter. Confidence, anticipation/ball placement, smarts, never seems to get rattled unless you rip his leg off, etc. Just an unbelievable player at the position.
And some fans want to call him a "fluke". Utter trash take. Look at the stats, and then look how many times he was sacked relative to his completion percentage. Now think about him having a seriously upgraded offensive line. Yeah. Fluke.

the sadness I felt for him losing in the super bowl but then the happiness I felt for Matty Staff was immense. This kid will win multiple Super Bowls without a doubt in my mind he is a true leader. Never preaching just always using his actions. Very clear how great he was brought up and the beliefs he was instilled with. I cannot wait to watch what he brings to the league next year.

I used to know Joe when he went to Ohio State. One night after bar hopping I was walking home and a car was obviously following me. I ignored the car and continued walking, following the person in front of me(i was following joe.) he noticed the car was following us too and he turned around and threw his hands up in the air like “wtf.”
Then, people hopped out of the car to grab me. One guy tried ripping my backpack off me, which I had several expensive apple products. I flung to the ground landing on nothing but my knees. Considering he was sacked more times than any nfl quarterback ever in a season and still took the team to the super bowl while never complaining about it once is kinda a big deal bud. People aren’t really aware of that. Most quarterbacks success is from having a strong O line giving them more time in the pocket. Burrow had to quick snap and throw constantly.

Losing the SB to the Rams & the media was laser focused on Joe just sitting on the bench by himself & the only Bengal left on the field watching Rams players catch confetti. You could tell he was just sitting down, taking his first SB experience in after such a heart-breaking loss. My heart hurt for him & I just wanted to give him a hug.
