Unfortunately, people just don't know Symphony X. The band is in the hall of the best band of composers of all times, I can say. Can't imagine my today's musical life without SX, really... Russell is such perfect. This lyrics is so precise. Love them all! Best wishes from Brazil =)

Such a beautiful song. The reason they are not huge is because they are too complex for the simpleminded people. The people want simple songs, repetitiveness, radio friendly, songs that relate to them and there life. Singing about fantasy stories isn't something people can relate but I love it because they are like stories and I love fantasy stories, its like art, artistic appreciation especially from people like me. Also symphony x isn't the ones who promote very well, either.
And now they've turned into a more generic, simplified metal band, and probably lost the majority of the fans that actually supported them over the years. "Paradise Lost" was the last Symphony X album I enjoyed.
Awesome to see! I've listened to the 2- disc live album, which is from a different concert/tour but very similar to this, thousands of times since it came out. I'll leave the cd in my car stereo for years and play it every day.
Oh god oh god, I downloaded this entire concert once like, 5 years ago, and when this song was starting it got cut off till the end, I was SO ROYALLY PISSED. Now I found an entire version of it, all is forgiven. I love you man, for uploading this.

The beginning reminds me Surrounded from DT, like Pharao is a copy on bass from Metropolis( The Miracle N The Sleeper) n there's other copies of Dream Theater that SX uses!!
3:14 a prize for whoever catches what he sings here... Even the official printed lyrics are wrong. It sounds like "double eye" or double eight" but I'm not sure. My guesses also make little sense in the context.

What year and venue was that in? I've seen every SX's Montreal shows since 2002, but my memory falls short of remembering.
