    I'd like to see you solve a 21x21
    If you did i could probably even watch it all the way through cause it won't be over 80 minutes

      Same, I hope it will get cheaper one day
      Or I could borrow one like I did with the examinx

    what do you think is the fastest 15x15 can ever ger to
    sub 25?
    sub 20?

    • @apcubes
      @apcubes  Год назад +1

      Sub25 is my long term goal, and I don't think sub20 is possible with current hardware and solving techniques

    Awesome to be able to see how to build big bares like that so fast. Now you’re faster than me on 13x13 lol
    Looks like you put the cube on your leg. Am I wrong?

      Yes, so it doesn't feel as heavy

    My biggest cube is a 13x13 and i just got sub - 50 on it so i'm thinking of getting a 15x15 in the next 3 months or so
    What 15x15 do you think would be better the MoYu or the ShengShou?

    • @apcubes
      @apcubes  9 месяцев назад +1

      Gj
      Moyu

    • @apcubes
      @apcubes  9 месяцев назад

      I owned both and I was able to beat my pb with a non magnetic moyu, even though the Shengshou was magnetized
      Of course, it was even better after I magnetized the moyu

    • @MrEFynn
      @MrEFynn 9 месяцев назад

      @@apcubes Okay i think the moyu would be better but i had a lot of people saying the shengshou is better too so i don't know and I'm not getting 2 15x15s at once to see which one is better cause that would be really expensive but i think the moyu would be better so i might get the moyu.

    • @apcubes
      @apcubes  9 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not really sure who is saying these things but the reasons that moyu 15x15 is better is:
      -It is much smoother, even if comparing to the spring compressed shengshou
      -Pops less
      -More vivid/contrasting color scheme

    • @MrEFynn
      @MrEFynn 9 месяцев назад

      @@apcubes Okay the moyu is probably a good choice

    did you put magnets in it? edit: do you know what the world record is? because Cubastic solved it in 2 and a half hours and he said that was the world record. although you shaved 2 hours off that time.

    • @apcubes
      @apcubes  Год назад

      Yes, I finished magnetizing it yesterday
      Cubeastic never had the world record, although I don't recall him claiming it apart from a misleading thumbnail

      @@apcubes what magnets did you use?

  • @JustATrist
    @JustATrist 8 месяцев назад

    How do you manage to turn it so fast without it popping? Is it the magnets?

    • @apcubes
      @apcubes  7 месяцев назад +1

      The magnets mostly just increase my tps, I can still get pops sometimes if I'm not careful

    • @JustATrist
      @JustATrist 7 месяцев назад

      @@apcubes Also, do you have any tips for me on how to get faster on big cubes? For a while, I've been tring to beat my 15x15 PB but would always be a few minutes away from beating it. Do you have any suggestions?

    • @apcubes
      @apcubes  7 месяцев назад +1

      I found it to be infinitely easier to handle big cubes in my lap than on the table, so you could start with that
      Experiment with different orders of making bars (i.e., it could be easier to first make the bars that are closest to the outer layer, then make then inwards from there). But in general, I just choose the bar that is closest to being solved, it's often that you'll find a bar with 5 or more pieces already solved
      Magnetized cubes is also crucial, either buy diansheng cubes or DIY magnetization (of course this is a big commitment)

      @@apcubes thanks a lot for those suggesting for possible improvements. I'll try them next time time I solve my big cubes.
