    So basically :
    - Know all the tracks by heart, lines and shortcuts
    - Be extremely precise with your driving
    - Read the game at all times and be ready to react to anything instantly
    - All the while, don't panic
    Sounds easy enough ! :D
    Joke aside, excellent video :)

On a alpha-gp start you can hold in brake, spin your wheels for like a milisecond and takeoff and hit your top speed in mph before most of the field hits their third-fourth gears.
Rally with the audi s1 also does this.
Maybe you can do it on some other cars!
The execution is a little hard to pull off though.

A little tid-bit of infomation for why to save up nos. When nos is in blue it recharges faster meaning you have more nos to use, and so can use nos more often. Another thing, is that when nos is closer to full it's much more powerful than when it's nearly empty. So if you're constantly burning nos down in the red, not only do you have less power, but you'll also have to wait longer for it to recharge just to have more 'lower power red nos' available to use again.
By remaining in the red when using nos, you're constantly using nos which has less power and then further still having to *wait longer* just for that red nos to recharge back up again, *while still being in the red.* This results in a compound effect of never having enough nos and never benefiting much from nos throughout the entire duration of the grand race.
Someone who keeps their nos in blue and near full is going to have *more than double* the nos benefit (power and recharge time). So it's no wonder a lot of people struggle to catch up to someone even if they are doing other things correctly. And it's because they aren't using their nos properly. Save the nos for later and wait for opportunities to use it, rather than spamming it for every mistake you make. There's no benefit to keeping nos in red when it has so little power and takes considerably longer to recharge then when it's in blue.
The final piece of info is that saving nos for getting up to and maintaining a higher speed for longer stretches of road with few or limited corners, is much more effective for pace than burning a lot of nos at low speeds, just for a bit quicker acceleration. You want to maintain a high speed for as long as you can as time matters most. And keeping nos in blue and near full is best for that.

What it hate about grand races is people Going AFK at the Starting grid make me and the others lose alot of places like Fr its Annoying, then when we go around them they start moving. Like why?

    • @DogManDan
      @DogManDan Месяц назад +8

Players are not AFK but rather it is lag from the server to whatever they are playing on. Just because everyone is on the same race/server for the GR doesn't mean that you console/PC is not affected by lag. Always be ready to turn to a side when you start.

10:46 momentum is super important and a little tip I would add here is: If you going faster than the car in front of you, but you can't pass them right now or there is no point in passing them in that moment, something a lot if not every top player does is let off the gas and try to not hit the car in front (keeping the momentum and slip stream) and wait for the opportunity to pass instead of pushing them potentially messing them up. W Video hope to see more clean races on the game!

After learning my cars, applying pro settings, learning the routes, guttering, NOS management & paying attention to everything going on around me I’m always in the top 10 now & making podium. Even if I get taken out, I always manage to come back.

One thing that I think works a lot is give people "the benefit of the doubt" Just because I puss you, ramm you or whatever doesn't mean I'm trying to play dirty. How you know I didn't make a mistake that cause that? And after that obviously people take it the wrong way and they came after you making us now wreck worst and then we lost several positions or even the podium. Just wait if that player does the same thing, then that's when you know he is dirty or sometimes you can locate the dirty ones before they get to you.

One more important tip : * The strongest opponent in the game is Mr Slipstream, he's in every lobby that you'll be in, he can make you win or lose races * Go off throttle or slow down enough and USE brakes if needed, so that you can keep in touch with Mr Slipstream. If you divebomb every corner, Mr Slipstream will be gone and you won't see him anymore that race * If you do catch up with Mr Slipstream, realise that you'll have more speed than normal in corners (Shifty) , so you might need to lift briefly to get through that corner you normally would take full throttle. Also when you are ahead and he's behind you, realise you'll also have more speed than normal (Trailer / Drag Bump) :) (This might be obvious for regulars, but esp. new players still don't seem to understand that driving in Mr Slipstream's drag, is ALSO A SKILL. * Happy Racing *

After watching everyone, I have to say that the help I got from your channel was matched by no one. On Xbox I am one of the better drivers who can keep up with the sweatiest of drivers when I’m using meta. Best tip I can give is to learn proper throttle control and don’t be afraid to slide the car a little around the corner. Some corners are faster to run doing a controlled slide using the inertia of the car itself. Works best with awd cars but alpha gp has so much low end power and grip it works well with them too. I also don’t run direct mode instead I use very aggressive sensitivity settings allowing me to do a few things direct mode users can do but with way more reliable inputs for console

Ive been kinda doing this without thinking because I’ve played this game so much.
This might be kinda childish, but I use one of the lines from Cars 3 to kinda help with this: "Sneak through the window." Pretty much what is said here, is to find an opening with a good line and take it.
Also for you guys wondering how to deal with rammers in these cases when you’re trying to stick to a line and passing someone but someone rams you into the wall, building, tree etc. Here’s a quick little tip for you new players.
So first off these people will try to get into your line, if they don’t ram you. First don’t panic. Rammers are absolute trashcans who can’t play the game normally so they resort to being a toxic a-hole. Wait for a corner. Go to the outside, which he will follow, so swerve back to the left instantly to get the good line and if they try to go back they’ll either hit you or the wall which will both slow him down. If you want to be risky or a troll against them, ram them into a wall, but keep in mind that you’re taking a risk, because they could break meaning they’d let you eat the wall.
If they’re pushing you into something, BREAK INSTANTLY. if you try to battle them it won’t end well. But what if there’s someone behind you meaning you can’t break for it? Reset. If they have the IQ of a monkey they’ll either smack into the wall themselves, making them lose even more positions bc they need to reset after the smack, and the person slipstreaming you might also hit the wall, which they didn’t do anything wrong but it’s still a position you can quickly reclaim.
They’re also mostly delusional when it comes to breaking. They’ll try to yeet you into a wall when cornering. Most of yall may know this, but instead you break in the inside of the turn if u realize there’s a rammer behind you. They’ll eat the wall and you’ll come out of the line much quicker than them.
I hope this helps and for you rammers who are reading this, go search for your father instead of annoying people

@@valdis6088 It depends on the track. If you get a track with lots of tight turns and room for error, it’s easy to separate. It’s especially frustrating when you get caught in no man’s land because no one has enough skill to slipstream with you.

Survive was a key to positions 10 to 3 a few weeks ago. But now you need to be good to reach 5-3.
Recently i see quiet often people with high speed immediatly. It is so strange.
Also, i think the 'driver' skills can make differences if the car's not. especially aerodynamics effects. I pushed them half (i need time for points, only 200) and now i can follow guys with my ford RS or electric porsche. It was impossible with recent metas, so 2 months ago i did 60 points. In fact, now i'm platinium every week. I do it again this month. probably 80+. Instead of 20/30.
And don't forget your video on general game settings, vanities, etc...

This is a good video to educate players to improve in grand races.
HOWEVER, there is an elephant in the room: Simgii is using wheel mode, an advantage that 99% players don't have.
Sure there is direct mode and the advice Trigger provided can be incorporated for regular controller players, BUT as soon as they are up against someone who has wheel mode and is good at using it (which will inevitably happen by chance or through stream sniping for streamers), forget about gaining ahead of them. You can try matching their speed with drafting, nitrous management and track knowledge, but against someone who can shift gears up AND two gears down quicker puts you at a disadvantage.
As someone who had use an actual steering wheel setup (Logitech G29) I've been getting consistent top 10s or even podiums thanks to the advice from this video AND a clutch pedal & a 6 speed gear shifter. And I'm terrible at the game, spinning out in crucial moments consistently.
Of course, in a grand race with no wheel mode users it would be salvation to a user who has worked hard to follow the video advices and pulling it off, but again, introduce them to a lobby with a wheel mode user and that hope turns to despair.
Also, while some cars you use naturally shift fast, the majority of meta cars that are faster have slower gear shifts (Street tier 1 & 2, few Hypercars & Rally raid and Monster) unless you have clutch.
Keep in mind this isn't Simgii or other wheel mode users fault, but Ivory Tower. There is still no official option to bind a clutch button for controllers and having the ability to quickly shift up and down is a huge advantage. This needs to change, so that controller players can have an even playing field.

Simgii uses the in game Direct Mode + plus clutch program. Wheelmode has nothing to do with gear shifts.
But to be honest, he would destroy 99.9% of players without Direct mode and clutch. His skill is the biggest differentiator. Those other things allow him to take full advantage of that skill and compete with the other “Aliens” in the game like Ryno, Predaking, Vinc, Goliath etc…

To this day i have done 2.422 GR's so far with 1.589 wins in total.
And i am oldschool Keyboard + Automatic
And i am friendly, clean + strong racer.
I am only Toxic in races when someone was toxic to me. ( Those situation you can basically see if it is was on purpose or not ) That will be the only time when i go to friendly + clean to be toxic to hunt them down.
Here is the reason why you can be a great racer to.
    - Having a great reflex while racing.
    - Knowing what your oppenent will be doing around you to use the right racing line.
    - To see the stuff around you what is better to take and when you gonna take it > Basically the right timing.
    - The feeling while you drive basically how the car feels and which situation is around you.
    - NOS Management for sure. Knowing on which situation you could use your NOS all the time. ( I have figured out myself how already because sometimes if a oppenent doesn't see what you are doing you can NOS away from it like crazy xD )
    - If you start at the back pack you must know how to act in order to be on front eventually. If you dont have those reflexes then cannot do that in a smooth way.
If you ever meet me in GR's or somewhere else. The Racing name i use is > MidoriRaceNeko.
